教学目标
《What’s the time 》Let’s learn部分是义务教育新课程标准实验教科书(科普版)四年级上册英语第八课第40页的内容, 主要学习“What’s the time ”句型及答语“It’s ……o'clock.”,这也是我们在日常生活中学习英语所要解决的问题。
学情分析
本节课的教学对象是小学四年级的学生。在知识掌握上,他们已有初步的听、说、读、写能力。在教学中教师抓住学生的这些特点,通过运用直观生动的教学方法,激发学生学习兴趣的同时,尽量多创造让学生“说”的机会,充分发挥学生的主体地位,要对学生好的表现给予及时的评价且知识具有梯度,使学生获得成就感,增强学生的自信心。
重点难点
1、重点句型:What’s the time 及其答语 It’s …...o'clock.
2、难点:It’s eleven o'clock.和It’s twelve o'clock.以及在实际情景中正确运用所学的对话。

(1)能听懂、会说、会认读且学会单词:eight, eleven, twelve, time, o’clock
(2)学习如何询问时间及其应答的日常交际用语:

(1)能够使用数词one-twelve表达具体事物的数量。
(2)能够用英语谈论时间。

(1)培养学生遵守时间珍惜时间的意识;
(2)利用多媒体技术,创设英语情景,增强互动,激发学生的学习兴趣。

【导入】
Step1.Warm up(趣味热身,亲近美)
1).Greetings
T: Good morning, class.
Ss: Good morning, Miss Zhou.
2). Sing a song: Ten little fingers
Step2.Lead-in(情境导入,感知美)
1).Revisions复习旧知
Look and say the words on the cards:
1. one 2.two 3.three 4.four 5.five 6.six
7. seven 8.eight 9.nine 10.ten 11.eleven 12. twelve
(注:通过学生各种读和开火车游戏将1-12这些数字熟练掌握,
重点复习eight, eleven和twelve,为后面的句型操练做好铺垫。)
2)将one---twelve摆成一个钟的形状,从而引入clock这个词汇。
并且告诉学生“We can use the clock to see the time.”,
进而学习“time”这个重点词汇及本课重点句型“What's the time ”。
【讲授】
Step3. Presentation(呈现新知,欣赏美)
1). 教师拿着实体钟表向学生展示一点钟,并且告诉学生“一点钟”的英语表达法是“one o'clock”,重点学习单词“o'clock”:
进而展示两点钟,告诉学生是‘’two o'clock',学生通过教师的引导依次说出“three o'clock, four o'clock......twelve o'clock ”.
2). 让学生熟练掌握one o'clock,two o'clock......twelve o'clock。
3). 呈现What’s the time It’s …...o'clock.句型,且通过各种形式操练这一句型。
如:教师用实体钟展示时间并问学生“What's the time ”,学生回答“It's ......o'clock.”,
或者让学生当小老师向其他学生展示时间并问“What's the time ”,其他学生回答“It’s ......o'clock.”。
【练习】
Step4.Practice(互动操练,体验美)
两个同学互相拨钟表,用本课学习的句型“What’s the time It’s …...o'clock."进行问答。
【测试】
Step5 .Consolidation (交际运用,展示美)
1). Let's guess: 教师问“What‘s the time ”, 学生猜“It's ......o'clock”.
2). Listen
播放录音,教师问“What‘s the time ”,让学生听并且回答问题。
