比较项 含义及用法 举例
divide 作动词时，意为“分开”， 指把一个整体分为若干部分或者平均划分，一般与 into 搭配 This apple is divided into two parts. 这个苹果被分成了两份。
separate 作动词时，意为“使分开；分隔”，指将混合物按不同类别分开，或者把紧紧连在一起的或者融合在一起的东西分开，一般与 from 搭配 Please separate the apples from the pears. 请把苹果和梨分开。
