New York is a very large city with over eight million people. How do so many people move around the city on their way to work and school So we should know something about its transport.
Traveling by subway is the fastest way to travel around the city. The subway runs on the railway lines under the city. It crosses the city at different points and goes to all parts of the city. However, you can’t enjoy the beautiful sights of the city.
The second way to travel around the city is by bus. This is the cheapest way, but It's the slowest way to travel because the bus has to stop at each bus stop. And traffic is often heavy.
The third choice is by taxi. This is the most expensive way, but the taxi will take you to any place you wish to go to. During the mornings and afternoons there is the rush hour, the traffic is very heavy when people go to or get off work .
The last way to travel around New York is using your car. It’s the most comfortable way because you can go at any time you want. But parking is also a big problem.
