Analysis of teaching material What: The content of this class is the greeting between friends. Bob asked Lucy what she did last weekend, Lucy responded with time module (Saturday, Sunday, morning, afternoon, evening). Why: Bob and Lucy's conversation about what Lucy did last weekend can help students learn more about the simple past tense and talk about past events in the correct language to communicate. How: By learning questions and answers in the past simple tense, as well as some expressions of everyday events.
Teaching objectives By the end of the session, most students will be able to: recognize the expressions of some daily events, match them with the pictures and identify what did Lucy, Becky, Carol and Jack do last weekend in different time practice the question and answer of past times events done in their own weekends. ① — Where did you do last weekend, Lucy — I went to summer camp. ② — How was your weekend — Pretty good, thanks design a topic of past times and talk about it with each other using simple past tense
