I. Teaching aims
1. Knowledge aims: To grasp the words such as: tiger, these, those and so on; To understand the dialogue and master the useful sentences: What are these/those It’s answer: They are ... What fun! and so on.
2. Ability aims: students can improve their listening and speaking ability by using the target language in real situations.
3. Emotion aims: Ss can have the sense of good cooperation and competition.
II. Key points and difficult points
1. The key point is to master the words: tiger, these, those and so on. And they can understand the dialogue and master the sentence pattern: Can I help you What are these/those It’s answer: They are ... and so on.
2. The difficult point is to make full use of them in real situations.
III. Teaching procedures
Step 1 Warming up
1. Greeting
2. Listen to a song and learn to sing it.
Step 2 Lead-in
After singing, let students answer the question: Where is she going (She is going to the toy shop.) Then I’ll show some toys and tell them: After learning Lesson 5, you’ll know What are these

3.Learn the talk.
a. Watch another video and answer a question.

Step 4 Practice
1. Read the talk after the tape.
2. Read the talk freely about 2 minutes.
3. Role play.
Step 5 Consolidation
Two students in a group make a new dialogue in real situation.
Step 6 Extension
Let students know it’s a waste to throw the old toys and we can find a better way to deal with them.
Step 7 Summary and Homework
Find a new owner of your old toys, and Introduce them like this: What! What! What are these Look! Look! They are birds. Fly! Fly! The bird can fly. Wow! What fun!
