In order to enrich the life of the exchange students from the UK, we' re going to organize a special activity next Saturday.
We have organized a bus trip to Happy Farm for foreigners, where we plan to pick strawberries. We will gather at the North Gate at 8 a.m. and return at 11:30 a.m. next Saturday.

There was once a very wise man who lived in ancient times. He was elderly and educated.
One day while on a walk, he realized that his shoes were starting to wear out. He knew he
had to buy a new pair, but he didn’t want to buy the wrong shoes. He collected some books and
spent a lot of time reading about how to know if a pair of shoes fit properly.
Following the books’ instructions, the man took a stick (棍子) and measured (测量) his feet
with it. He then went to the market. However, he left the stick at home, which was far away from

A slow train in Southwest China with its own study room has attracted much attention from

There was once a very wise man who lived in ancient times. He was elderly and educated.
One day while on a walk, he realized that his shoes were starting to wear out. He knew he had to buy a new pair, but he didn’t want to buy the wrong shoes. He collected some books and spent a lot of time reading about how to know if a pair of shoes fit properly.

A slow train in Southwest China with its own study room has attracted much attention from netizens (网民), according to a CCTV News report on Monday.
The train No. 5609/5610, which runs between Chongqing and Xiushan county, is a public-welfare (公共福利的) “slow train”. In some carriages (车厢), some seats have been replaced with desks and chairs next to the windows to change it into a “study carriage” for passengers in need.
