Teaching Aims and Demands

1. Learn to talk about what people are doing.
2. Develop students’ listening and communicative competence.
3.To master the change rule of v-ing, the basic structure and the sentence patter of The Present Continuous Tense.
Ⅱ Ability Goals
1.To develop the students’ abilities of speaking, reading, listening.
2.To let students describe scenes around them using Present Continuous Tense .
Ⅲ Emotion and Attitude Goals
Strengthen the students’ communicative ability and improve the friendship among them.
Teaching important and difficult Points:

1. To let students use the basic structure of The Present Continuous Tense correctly.
2. To let the students grasp the sentence patter of The Present Continuous Tense.
ⅡTeaching Difficult Points:
1.To know about the sentence patter of The Present Continuous Tense.
2.Review to use The Present Continuous Tense correctly.
Teaching Procedures
Step 1 Greeting and Lead- in
1.Greet the students .
First ,look at the pictures to talk about what they are doing. Help the students be aware of the meanings of those sentences.
And guide students to understand what Present Continuous Tense is.
Step 2 Review and Practice
First, 1.Explain the Present Continuous Tense.
1、现在进行时表示现在(说话瞬间)正在进行或发生的动作。
eg:I am doing my homework now.
Look, the animals are singing and dancing.
Explain the important points about the Present Continuous Tense in details if necessary.
⑴常有上下句、上下文提示或now、right now、at the moment、look、listen、at present、at this time等词语在句中提示。
2、表示现阶段正在进行的动作。
eg:I am writing a book these days.
⑵be动词(am/is/are)和动词的ing形式必须同时具备,两者缺一不可。
eg :I am reading a book now.
He is playing football.
Look,Tom is running.
Listen,They are singing .
According to the pictures and sentences,summarize the structure of Present Continuous Tense.
现在进行时是由助动词am / is / are 加动词形式-ing构成。
Guide the students to conclude the sentence patterns of present continuous tense.
肯定句:主语+be + 动词ing + 其他。
否定句:主语+be+ not + 动词ing + 其他。
一般疑问句:be + 主语 + 动词ing+其他?
肯定回答:Yes, 主语+be 否定回答:No, 主语+be
Give some example to understanding.
⑶注意动词加ing时,有几种变化形式。
直接+ing read--reading learn--learning
去e+ing write-writing live-living
双写词尾字母+ing sit-sitting begin-beginning
以-ie结尾变-ie为-y再加ing lie-lying tie-tying die-dying
现在分词的变化规则口诀:
现在分词很好玩,动词后缀ing。
词尾若有哑音e, 去e再加ing。
一辅重读闭音节,这个字母要双写。
还有一点要注意,改ie为y再跟ing
