教学目标
教学目标:1 能够就爱好话题与他人进行简单交流。
2 能熟练运用以下句子:
a Does he like doing something 及答语。
b He likes doing something.
3 能掌握四会词:card, sometimes, often, well
能力目标:1 能正确理解短文,并正确回答问题。
2 能复述短文,并运用所学知识做拓展练习。
情感目标: 让学生懂得在生活中培养有益的兴趣爱好,并为之努力,使自己成为健康快乐的人。
学情分析
有了前两个课时的铺垫,学生对基础句型有了一定的认识和理解,但对短文的理解还有一定难度。
重点难点
1 能准确地表达出自己和他人的爱好,并能够区别like 后的动名词和一般现在时的不同。
2 能运用所学知识,进行短文的复述或创作。
教学过程
【讲授】Jim`s hobbies
一 导入(Free talk)
教师利用英文歌曲导入,引入本节课的主旨,从而开始解决第一个难点,hobby,利用问答形式让学生建立起旧知识与本节课新知识的联系,也能使学生快速进入英语课堂。
T:“Good morning , everyone. Let’s listen to the song.”
“ You are sunshine, only my sunshine. Do you want to be a sunshine youth ”
“But if you want to be a sunshine youth, you must have some hobbies.”
“Today I’ll introduce Jim to you. I think he is a sunshine youth.”引起学生好奇,导入文本。
二 教授呈现(Prescription)
1. 教师给出简单问题How many hobbies does Jim have 让学生带着问题听录 音,对全文有个大概的了解。
2. 学生回答问题后,进入粗读和精讲阶段。教师给出第二个问题“Jim has five hobbies. What does he like ” 学生带着问题通读全文,学生回答问题。
3 .Students read the first paragraph, and the teacher asks the question.
① What does Jim like
② What does he like playing
既检验学生听读的效果,又练习like后的动名词形式。
4. 学生回答完问题后,通过简笔画和问答练习,着重练习生词card和sometimes。将单词放在句子和文本中练习,既能提高学生的英语表达能力,又能加强语感。
T:“Does he often play cards ” 生答。
总结 Jim is not a playful boy. 使学生懂得玩耍应适度。
5. Students read the second and the third paragraphs. Teacher asks the questions.
① What does he like
② Does he often go fishing on Sundays
③ Does he often swim in spring
④When does he go fishing
⑤When does he swim
Students answer the questions.
Teacher says, “Jim likes swimming, he often swims, so he can swim well. ”And then students practice the sentence: ... often ...., so .... can... well with the pictures.
Teacher concludes, “They are famous, right Because they all work hard. I think Jim works hard just like them.
6 Students read the last two hobbies and ask some questions about them, then student conclude:” Jim loves sports and reading.”
7 The boys ask and the girls answer, then exchange.
