本节课是绘本阅读课,内容选自翼渡英语分级阅读Little Schoolbag小学英语学习绘本六年级下册,The True Treasure。 讲述了草原上的leopard, dinosaur, goat, giraffe , little groundhog去远山寻宝的故事。一路上其他动物都因种种原因而放弃,最终只有不被看好的小土拨鼠找到了宝藏。该故事内容符合义务教育英语课程标准(2022年版)以及小学英语核心素养的要求,贴近“人与社会”“人与自我”等主题,符合“自然生态”“社会服务与人际沟通”“做人与做事”等子主题。与人教版英语PEP六年级下册Unit 1 How tall are you 内容相匹配,绘本包含本单元的重点词汇younger, smarter, taller, bigger, stronger, dinosaur,better等,是该单元内容的复习巩固与拓展延伸。
学情分析
本课时的教学对象是六年级学生,经过三年的学习,他们有了一定的英语学习基础,积累一定的词汇和阅读技巧,且具有较强的模仿能力。
1. 学生的认知水平
六年级的学生已掌握一定的阅读技巧,有小组合作学习的习惯,能够在教师的引导下,读懂简单的绘本故事,但是口语表达能力仍较弱。
2. 学生学习态度
学生对英语学习有较浓厚的兴趣和自信心;能积极参与课堂活动。
3. 学生已有的知识储备
学生已经学过部分动物和形容词比较级的单词,这些内容都将成为学生理解绘本内容和描述动物们寻宝过程的有力支撑。
大部分学生已经学习了以下的词(dinosaur, goat, smaller, younger, bigger, faster ...),并能使用以下语句进行特征的比较:A+ be+形容词比较级+than+ B.
4. 学生的逻辑思维现状:
学生能在图片的帮助下,读懂简单的语篇信息,能比较语篇中的人物、行为、事物或观点间的相似性和差异性,并作出正确的价值批判,如不能以貌取人、做事要坚持不懈。
教师在课堂上要充分发挥学生的主体作用,为学生创设良好的学习小组氛围,让他们积极参与知行合一课堂活动,勇于展示自己,绽放出彩人生。
教学目标
(一)语言能力
1. 能掌握绘本相关词汇:dinosaur, goat, smaller, younger, bigger, faster,better....
2. 掌握基本的阅读策略,能利用所学阅读策略如快读获取文章主要情节信息,细读获取文章深层信息等。
3. 能在教师的帮助下对故事的主要情节进行表演。

1. 能积极参与课堂活动,注意倾听,大胆用英语进行交流。
2. 能在学习单的引导下,及时预习和复习所学内容。
3. 能在小组合作活动中与他人合作,认真思考、主动探究、共同完成学习任务。

1. 能在图片帮助下,预测故事情节发展,并做出正确的价值观判断。
2. 能对绘本故事内容发表看法,说明理由,交流感受,并尝试简单的复述。
(四)文化意识
1. 能在人际交往中,能与他人友好相处,尝试理解对方的感受,体现出礼貌、得体与友善,不要以貌取人。
2. 能在故事和视频的启迪下,发现和感悟其中蕴含的精神——坚持不懈、永不放弃。
教学重点、难点
教学重点:掌握并会运用故事中重点单词和句子。
教学难点:能在图片和老师的帮助下,读懂绘本故事,并能在小组合作活动中,进行角色扮演或复述绘本故事。
教学设计理念
根据六年级孩子的心理特点、年龄特征和班级实际情况,结合“知行课堂”小组合作的教学要求,以培养学生的兴趣为出发点,打造高效的知行合一课堂。以学生为主体,以学习单为辅,通过一系列的教学活动,如引入chant, 角色扮演、小组合作等让学生更好理解文本,并通过任务引领学生积极参与到学习中,感知体验知识获得的过程,激发他们的学习兴趣,丰富学生的英语知识,发展学生的语言技能,让学生在合作中感受、学习故事内容,培养学生做事要坚持不懈、永不放弃的优秀精神品质。

【设计意图】在学习单的辅助下,课前小组成员相互合作及时预习和复习所学内容。通过Chant帮助学生复习动物相关单词以及形容词比较级,为接下来的教学活动做铺垫。同时营造活跃的课堂氛围,提高学生学习绘本的兴趣。

约“绘”春光 趣味逐梦
——小学英语绘本教学反思
4月28日,和风习习带来了南方城市独有的光景,顺德区视导活动如期开展,能够参与到研讨课中,对我而言,已经是一个巨大的肯定和鼓励。更重要的是,我还可以得到田老师的指导和帮助,对我来说更是莫大的荣耀。
机缘巧合,无意中看到这本绘本 The True Treasure, 初次阅读该绘本,发现其篇幅较长,我心生疑虑,它是否适合我们班的学情,后来再次细细品味,方才发现它的精彩、迷人之处。绘本故事与主教材深度融合,故事充满趣味和蕴含丰富哲理,对我们毕业班的孩子来说真的是太适合了!
着手备课时,我又陷入了迷茫的深渊。一方面,担心自己不熟悉绘本教学,尚处于摸索阶段。另一方面,绘本篇幅较长,课堂须设计大量的活动,这样又会流于形式,无法达到预期效果。那么,我应该如何设计才能更好地体现“知行课堂”,又能融合主教材体现绘本味呢?
精彩课例,是最好的学习材料!与其苦思冥想,不如多观摩、多学习,于是我整理之前的听课本,同时网上搜索资源。再次感谢田老师公众号的分享,真的干货满满。黄慧老师所说的“绘本教学的真谛是为整体而读、为想象而读、为图画而读”给予了我灵感。对绘本教学模式有一定的了解后,我又重回绘本教材,反复研读,梳理思路。最终决定结合“知行课堂”、基于学情、鉴于融合绘本,以经典的绘本模式picture tour的形式展开。
我将教学设计方案确定为以下三个环节:
Pre-reading(知习先学行反馈), 课前要求学生预习完成学习单温故知新的部分,并在小组内讨论核对、订正答案。上课时,激趣导入。从Chant引入,复习旧知、活跃气氛。并由Chant的最后一句Which animal do you like best 引导学生进行Free talk,说说自己喜欢的动物和其原因。While-reading(知行会学行探究&知行会学行展示),Cover Reading,通过扫读封面,初步获取信息,并引导学生尝试对绘本内容进行简单的提问,引出题目The True Treasure, 提出疑问What is the true treasure 接着Picture tour,整体输入,让学生带着所提的问题进行游览图片,获取更多的信息。紧接着,Detail Reading,顺着故事线进入细节阅读,我设计了由易到难、由浅到深的问题,通过Where is the treasure chest What’s in the chest What animals want to find it Why do they think they can find the chest quickly Guess, who will find the chest 的问题和设置较简单的任务Read and match引导学生更好地理解文本。然后通过倒叙方式The little groundhog finds the chest at last.让学生对故事保持好奇,激发学生阅读的欲望,并设置小组合作展示活动,让学生找出其他动物没有找到宝藏的原因,使学生在合作中学习,在交流中体会。最后思考What’s the groundhog’s true treasure chest 升华情感,悟出寓意。Post-reading(知得乐学行感悟) 我让学生回味绘本,基于语篇进行角色扮演,分享交流。在体验中学习、在实践中运用、在迁移中创新。
这一节课,能够结合“知行课堂”、基于绘本故事设计教学活动,并达到了一定的教学效果,但同时也存在很多不足。
首先,Slower,慢下来。本节课教学环节较多、时间不足,出现赶进度的情况。可以尝试精简部分,让活动开展得更具体、更深刻。如角色扮演环节,除了要指令清晰、搭建好的平台、还要给予学生充足的时间去练习准备。同时,在活动开展过程中,要注意时刻关注课堂生成、关注学生的学、多等待与倾听。
其次,Lower,放下来,要注意以学生为中心,充分融入学生当中,由引导者转变为参与者,才能更好地实现沉浸式教学,开展以学生为主导的教学活动,培养学生自我探索,自我发现,自我总结的习惯,达成更理想的知行合一教学效果。
然后,Weaker,柔下来,才能和学生手把手、肩并肩谈论交流,发展学生素养,凸显学生主体地位,发挥学生主观能动性。让学生主动去解决问题,增加探索欲望,加深对故事内容的理解与内化创新。
最后,Together, 一起走向未来。我应关注细节、持续夯实专业基础、不断提升专业水平;完善自身不足、教学相长共同进步!孩子的梦是五彩斑斓的,我们的课亦可缤纷多彩,愿每个你我心中都有向往未来的梦!
