On Christmas Day, Jim’s family were in his grandparents’ house. After lunch, they opened their presents under the Christmas tree. Everybody was very excited.
Dad: There are so many presents under the Christmas tree. This one is from grandma. It’s yours, Jim.
Jim: No, it’s not mine. It’s his.
Dad: Yes, it’s grandpa’s.
Grandpa: Open it for me, please. What is it?
Jim: It’s a beautiful wallet!
Grandpa: Thank you. I like the colour very much.
Grandma: You’re welcome.
Jim: Look at this present, dad. It’s from grandpa. It’s so big!
Dad: Is it mum’s?
Jim: No,it’s not hers. It’s grandma’s.
Grandma: Let me open it. Oh, a teapot and some tea. Thank you very
much, dear. I like drinking tea, and the teapot is very
beautiful.
Jim: Wow, I’ve got two presents from mum and dad. Can I open
them?
Dad: Yes,you can.
Jim: A calculator and a skateboard! Thanks, mum. Thanks, dad.
Dad: Where are ours then?
Jim: Here they are.
Mum: Who are they from?
Jim : They are from grandpa and grandma.
Dad: Open mine for me, Jim.
Jim: Oh, it’s a watch, dad.
Mum: Can you open mine, too?
Jim: Sure. Oh, it’s a hairdryer, mum.
Mum: It’s very nice! Thank you very much.
