教学过程:
Step Ⅰ. Warming up
1. Greetings.
2. 揭示课题:图片出示童话故事 Do you know these English stories They are also called fairy tales. 图片出示:Fairy tales reflect the true ,the good, the beautiful.(真,善,美). Today we will learn a new fairy ,板书课题; The giant’s garden It was written by Wilde(王尔德)
出示巨人图片,讲解giant 提问;Who had the garden (The giant)
T:What was the garden like What happened in the garden Do you want to know Let’s go into the garden , here we go!
Step Ⅱ. Presentation and practice (自主探究)
Paragraph 1 Read the first paragraph
问题导学

What did the children like to play
Did the children have a lot of fun

想象练习,发散思维

angry:让学生表演生气并想象这时候巨人会对孩子们说什么?(发散思维)

He built a high wall around his garden。(出示图片) 讲解high and around。 Maybe the giant would put up a sigh on the wall, it said: No entry .让学生猜No entry的汉语意思。(想象,发散思维) Fill in the blanks The giant ________ a high wall around the garden and ________ ________ a sign. It said “________ ________!” Now the children ________ play in his garden
T: When the giant drove away the children, what was the garden like (出示图片,学生回答) T; There are four seasons in a year ,they are spring, summer ,autumn and winter ,But when the giant drove away the children, it was always winter in the garden. There were no birds or flowers, and the trees were not green 。

T: What did the giant do ( 出示PPT) 演示讲解pull down. Step Ⅲ. Continue the story续写 完成后学生展示 Step IV Consolidation and extension Why was the garden sad at first and why was he happy at last (师生探讨) 由此引出share and love ,分享是爱,爱还包括什么呢?学生畅所欲言。
出示PPT,师总结What is love
