Story Time The Cat and the Bell教学设计
1. 整体设计思路、指导依据说明
本课的教学设计我以《英语课程标准(2011年版)》为依据,形成由学习任务到运用任务的逐层递进。在教学中,我从学生的生活经验和认知水平出发,让学生参与、合作与交流的学习方式和任务型教学途径发展学生的综合运用能力。 2. 教学背景分析
教学内容分析: 本节课所教授的是福建教育出版社小学英语三年级的story部分。这是讲猫和铃铛的故事。多数同学都看过这个故事的中文版,这就为学生的语言学习提供了良好的背景知识。
学生情况分析:
本课的教学对象是三年级的学生,在设计故事情节时,要注意选择个性鲜明、描写生动的人物或动物形象。小学生的认知特点和心理发展水平决定了他们易于接受和辨认直观的、对比鲜明的事物。通过将近两年的英语学习,他们有了一定的英语基础,大部分学生都有英语学习的积极性与主动性,求知欲增强。因此,在新知识传授的同时,我尽可能的为学生创造良好的语言环境,让学生在学习中积极参与、大胆发言,从而形成积极的情感态度。
3. 教学目标分析

6. 教学过程设计
Step 1 Pre-reading
1. watch cartoons “Tom and Jerry”
2. Greetings
3. Free talk to make the cushion to the story.
4. Have students know something about the cat and mice.
5. Review the words "brother" and "sister" and lead in today's topic.
6. Teach: kill/ the black cat kills our brothers and sisters.
7. Have students to guess "What shall the mouse do ”.
【设计意图】从学生喜欢的经典动画“猫和老鼠”入手,用猫和老鼠历为天敌的关系导入本课故事。告诉学生今天要学一个猫和老鼠的故事并设立一个任务,调动起学生的学习欲望。
Step 2 While-reading
1.First reading
Have students watch the story to find the answer for the question:
"What’s shall the mouse do ".
Teach: shall→What shall we do
bell→ put a bell on the cat
Can you put a bell on the cat
We can put a bell on the cat.
Drill: Mechanical training Game: " I can, Can you ", practice "put...on..."and review "I can...""Can you... "
2. Second reading.
(1) Have students do "timed reading".
(2)Think: What will happen when the mouse put the bell on the cat
(3)Teach:
①when, come→ When it comes.
②ring → the bell will ring.
③Then we can run away.
(4) Drill: "I do, You say"
3. Third reading.
(1) Have students to watch the video.
(2) Find out:
Who can put the bell on the cat And How do they respond
(3) Teach: old→ I’m too old. young → I’m too young.
(4) Drill: quick response —— "too old or too young"
4. Listen and imitate.
5. Read in roles.
【设计意图】通过三次故事阅读,让学生做到对故事从初步感知到通读全文到最后的语言输出,三次阅读老师都给学生安排了任务,让学生通过对故事的起因、发展、高潮和结局的学习来了解和理解这个故事,有目的的去听,去学习。中间运用各种方式对故事的重点句型和难句进行有效地操练,为最后的语言输出打好基础。
Step 3 Post-reading

【设计意图】让学生学了课文并把它表演出来,在检验学生掌握程度的同时,又给了学生展示个性的机会和舞台,对于能力较强的学生,续写课文,学生对新旧知识的融合运用能力得到提升,让学生享受学习的乐趣。

【设计意图】让学生帮老鼠想主意,改写故事,让学生有充分的发展空间,拓展了他们的思维。思维拓展既检验学生的知识储备情况也训练了学生知识整和运用的能力。

【设计意图】让学生通过故事的学习,端正自己的学习态度。
Step6 make a story book The teacher and the whole class make today’s story into a mini-book.
【设计意图】通过今天的故事学习,把故事制作成一本迷你故事书,让学生表现欲望的余温在课后还能得到发挥,同时迷你书也比较有趣,学生学习英语的激情更能得到维持和激发。
