1. 能够借助录音、图片、文字和教师的讲解读懂本课小故事,复习本单元重点词汇及功能句。 2. 能够大声朗读故事,并能用I can’t ___, but I can ___.描述自己不会做和会做的事情。 3. 通过本课学习,学会发现自己的长处、欣赏自己和他人。
教学重难点
本课以故事的形式复现本单元的部分学习内容,让学生在享受阅读故事的乐趣的同时,进一步体会本单元重点词汇和功能句在语境中的运用。能够大声朗读故事,并能用I can’t ___, but I can ___.描述自己不会做和会做的事情。通过本课学习,学会发现自己的长处、欣赏自己和他人。
教学过程
Warm-up&Lead in 播放本单元与游戏或活动相关的歌谣,激活旧知。 出示三个动物头像,引出本课主题:We can do so many things at playtime. What about our animal friends Today, we are going to read a story about them. Let’s read. 开始图片环游: P1: Look, they are at home. Who are they (Monkey, Lucky and Penguin.) What are they talking about (Let’s listen.) Can Penguin make a model plane (Penguin can’t make a model plane.) P2: Then, they go out to play. Look! What can Monkey do (圈出自行车。He can ride a bike.) What does Lucky say Can Penguin ride a bike (Let’s listen.) (Penguin can’t ride a bike.) P3: Look, they’re in the park. (圈出足球。Monkey and Lucky are playing football.) Angel is coming ,too. What does she ask (Let’s listen.) Can Penguin play football (No, he can’t.) P4: Now they’re playing by the lake. Look, what’s in the sky Yes, there’s a kite. What does Angel say (Can you guess Great! She asks Penguin “Can you fly a kite ”) Penguin says “ Sorry... I can’t.” (Penguin can’t fly a kite.) P5: They find some snow here. What can Monkey do (He can make a snowman.) What does Angel say (Guess!) Can Penguin make a snowman (No, he can’t do it, either.) P6: Look at this picture. Is Penguin happy (Yes.) What can he do in the water (Guess. Listen.) Yes, Penguin can swim. His friends are happy for him, too. Let’s watch. 播放动画,跟读故事。 Let’s talk. 出示句型Penguin can’t ____/____/____/____/____, but he can ____.及故事图片,教师示范复述故事:As we know, Penguin can’t make a model plane. He can’t ride a bike or play football. He can’t fly a kite or make a snowman. But he can swim! That’s wonderful! 出示句型I can’t ___, but I can ___.引导学生描述自己不会做和会做的事情:What about you What can you do Can you use the sentence structure to talk about yourself Have a try! Let’s think.
