1. He is a hero in the novel called Journey to the West, which is one of
the four classic novels of Chinese literature.
他是中国古代四大名著之一《西游记》中的英雄。
which is one of the four classic novels of Chinese literature为非限制性定语从句，用来修饰先行词Journey to the West.
①非限制性定语从句是对被修饰名词或代词的附加说明，它不是必需的，如果去掉，也不会影响句子的意思，它与被修饰名词之间通常用逗号分开。
②引导非限定性定语从句时，用which(不用that)
③引导非限定性定语从句的which可以指代前面的先行词,也可以指前面整个句子的含义
④除which外，还可用when，where，who等关系代、副词引导非限定性定语从句。 例如：After graduation, I decided to stay in Chongqing, where I spent my childhood and four years of college life.
⑤在限定性定语从句中作宾语时，引导词可以省略，但引导非限定性定语从句的关联词不能省.

I've ever known 是定语从句，省略了关系代词that, 修饰先行词character.
当先行词被形容词的最高级或序数词修饰时，关系代词只能用that.
当that 在从句中做宾语时，可以省略。

be helpful to sb. 对某人有用/有益。
e.g. The booklet should be very helpful to parents of disabled children.

in fact 实际上，事实上。
It is+强调部分+who+其他成分，是强调句型。
除谓语动词不能强调外，其他成分都可强调。强调人时可以将who 换为that。
e.g. It is I that help you.是我帮助你的。
He bought the book in this shop yesterday.
It was he that/who bought the book in this shop
yesterday.（强调主语）
It was the book that he bought in this shop
yesterday.(强调宾语)
It was in this shop that he bought the book
yesterday.(强调地点状语)
It was yesterday that he bought the book in this.（强调时间）
强调句型
5. In my view, neither the Monkey King nor Harry Potter would become a hero without the help of their friends. 在我看来，没有朋友的帮助，孙悟空和哈利·波特都不能成为英雄。
in one’s view 在某人看来,常放在句首，后面引出某人的看法。
e.g. In his view(在他看来)，we should go there by train.
neither… nor…两者都不/ 即不……也不……,后面的谓语动词就近原则。
e.g. Neither he nor I am from China.
Neither I nor he is from China.他和我都不是来自中国。
