It was December and the snow was falling quietly outside. The four March sisters were sitting around the fire in the parlor.

With a history of more than 1,000 years in China, the oil-paper umbrella was a rain-sheltering tool for the Chinese. It is so named because the umbrella’s surface is made of paper brushed with tung oil(桐油).

What subject do you worry about most at school Many students worry about math. Some students can’t sleep well the day before a math exam. Others may feel very worried during the exam itself. But there might be a way to make the subject less stressful(有压力的).

According to several recent surveys, some people fear public speaking more than anything else. Luckily, this fear can be overcome(克服) with two simple methods: practice and using positive(正面的) energy from the audience. Practicing for a speech is important.
