大单元整体教学设计思路
本单元的学习主题为规则的学习,包括“人与社会”以及“人与自我”两大主题范畴。内容围绕这两大主题,展开话题“Work Quietly!”,以不同类型的语篇为依托,融入语言知识,文化知识,语言技能和学习策略登学习要求。为践行学思结合,用创为本的英语学习活动观,在设计三个不同的课型时,融入一条故事线,将不同的语篇串联在一起,创设丰富的语境,围绕语篇主题意义设计逻辑关联的语言实践活动。该故事线以Zoom的视角为开端,从单元开篇中Zoom与Zip的课堂聊天开始,导入Room每日不健康的日常作息,带入Chen Jie 同学的自律作息,应到学生感知并体会语篇内容,在课程结尾部分,布置任务,让学生帮助Zoom修改日常作息,引导学生通过实践活动巩固本课所学重点,在最后Zoom了解到自己日常作息所存在的问题,准备寻找自己的好友Zip来监督自己,视角转为Zip,他此时正准备去图书馆学习,遇见了John,在交谈中了解了在图书馆中须遵循的规则,但却不清楚在其他场合该如何做,于是第二天与Zoom约好一起去电影院看电影,在看电影的过程中,因为Zoom没有学好规则,于是和Zip在电影院里吃东西,说话,引起在旁边看电影的老虎以及兔子的不满,在意识到自身的错误后,认真打扫了自己弄撒的爆米花,并取得了老虎以及兔子的原谅,也结实了新的朋友。
教学内容
教学内容为第六单元的故事时间,是整个单元的巩固与扩展。教学内容:本故事呈现的是Zoom和Zip在电影院看电影时不注意公共场合行为规范所引发的故事,通过趣味故事复习与巩固并扩展所学的核心语言。学生除了复习与巩固现在进行时态和行为规范的语言外,还通过图片和上下文拓展理解film, gorilla, popcorn, exciting, crunch,sign等单词的意思。
学情分析
目标学生为五年级的学生,学生之间存在差异,他们其中有些学生活泼好动,对于新事物充满兴趣,喜欢表现自己,但有些学生会比较内向害羞,但相同的地方是,他们都很喜欢模仿。他们在此之前已经学习了本单元相关的单词短语以及现在进行时的相关语法。具备一定的英语交流以及表达的能力,对于这个阶段的学生需要关注学生不同的学习需求,采用多种教学方式激发学生的学习兴趣,为学生创设体验成功的机会。并基于有意义的学习素材通过感知,体验,运用,实践等循序渐进的方式发展学生能力。重视对学生英语学习方法的指导,为他们学会学习奠定基础。通过开展英语综合实践活动促进学生核心素养的全面发展。
教学目标
学生能够在图片和教师的帮助下理解故事内容,复习与巩固本单元重点语言:能够在教师的帮助下表演故事。
教师可以根据学生的不同情况,制定不同层次的教学目标,即能理解故事内容;能理解并朗读故事;能理解并表演故事,还能恰当运用故事中的核心语言。
作为A、B两部分学习的拓展和延伸,鼓励学生课外模仿朗读故事或表演故事,使故事材科成为学生积累语言,使用语言、提高语言运用能力的载体。
通过故事阅读,提醒学生注意遵守行为规范,比如保持安静、保持环境干净等,培养学生的规则意识。学会自我管理,热爱生活。
五、教学过程
Step 1 warm-up
Use a short video to motive students to learning, free talk between teachers and students about weather,food and some interesting things, and by this close the gap of students and teachers.( 设计意图:使用视频激发学生的学习兴趣,活跃课堂气氛,老师通过与学生之间的自由交谈,拉近彼此之间的距离。)
T:hello,boys and girls. Nice to meet you. I am so glad to have an English class with you.How are you today
Ss: I am fine.
T: What’s the weather like today
S: It’s sunny and hot.
T: It’s a good day. So let’s watch a video together. Do you like it Today we will learn a story. It’s a good day,and our friends Zoom and Zip will go to the cinema. Let’s say what happen.
Ss: OK.

Step2 Lead-in
With the new curriculum standard, the big-unit teaching are presented. From the sight of Zip of Zoom, they go through so many rules that lead to the learning material. So at the beginning of the class, we will use the sight of Zoom and Zip, they go to the cinema to see the film. (设计意图:根据新课标所提倡的大单元教学,将故事线连接起来,从Zoom以及Zip的视角,从教学材料中学会遵守规则。)
T: Do you know cinema We can see a film in the cinema. At first, they need to take a bus. We need to take turns. So get on one by one. Can you count with me
Ss: One,two, three,four, five!
T: The cinema is on the second floor, and we need to ascend the stairs. We must keep to the right. Wow! There are so many gorillas! Let’s see!
(教师活动:在这个阶段,老师需要使用生动的语言以及肢体动作,将同学们带入情境之中,复习之前的规则短语,也与前两堂课的故事串联起来,让同学们融入情境中,引发对于即将学习的内容的猜想)

Step3 Presentation
Let students to watch the short video,and then some questions about the story ,and let them to answer. There will be three tasks which need students to group discussion.(设计意图:根据学生的个体差异以及不同的学习需求,使用任务型,图文并茂等教学方法,让学生在阅读,理解语篇内容的基础上,通过倾听,观察,回答问题的方式,对故事内容进行巩固和内化,且只播放前半部分的视频,留下悬念,引发学生的思考以及猜想。)

S: Somebody is eating food.

T: Oh,yes. Listen again. What’s Zip doing
S: Zip is talking with Zoom.
T: Oh.there are too many noise.
T:If you are seeing the film with them,what will you do
S: I will stop them.
S: I will live then away.
T: Oh, that’s you way to solve this problem. Here is a unlucky rabbit. He is seeing the film with them. Look, What’s the rabbit thinking about From his face.
S: He is unhappy.
S: He is speechless.
T: Emmm, Yes, he feels not good. Let’s see,what will happen

Step 4 practice
Students need to imitate and role play and then retell the story. (设计意图:播放录音,让学生们模仿角色对话,邀请学生进行模仿表演,引导学生做到“想表达”“能表达”和“会表达”体验英语的乐趣与意义,通过丰富的语言实践活动,应到学生感知体会语篇,为准确,得体的在相关情境中表达宇交流奠定基础。指导学生复述故事,通过任务单填空的方式,概括语篇的主要内容,巩固故事内容,借助思维导图梳理以及归纳所学内容,掌握学习方法,指导学生学会根据实际需求选择恰当的学习方法解决学习问题,为学生学会学习奠定基础。)

Step 5 Consolidation and homework
Let students to guess what will happen next.
(教学设计:此环节,让学生推断故事接下来的发展,感知故事的发展走向,根据最后一幅图片展开联想,Zoom 在发现一地狼藉后会做什么,看完电影后,老虎以及兔子与Zoom ,Zip之间的关系会有怎样的进展,他们回到家之后呢?让学生对于故事的主题意义做出正确的理解和判断。)
