学情教材分析 Textbook Analysis: Although in the High School Entrance Examination,this testing part is not difficult for the students,they still always choose the wrong answers, and that is because they don't use the correct and logical ways. That's also why it's urgent to teach this part now. Student Analysis: It must be obvious that most of the students solve the words guessing problems really just by guessing on one's own knowledge instead of basing on the key information before and after the word, not mention to use normal common sense.
核心素养目标 Thinking Quality: One can find out the features about the testing part of guessing words' meanings with the help of the teacher's analysis. Learning Capacity : Be able to get rid of one's wrong guessing thinking pattern(s) and put the new method into solving one's practical problems.

Ⅰ. Warm-Up Pre-teach 【 6 min】 Lead-in 【 2-5 min】 To help the students to strengthen their vocabulary, read the dictation content which they always make mistakes on. Show the analysis on the tests of the past ten years to the students to let them know the features of this part. Write down the words, phrases and sentences carefully and try to make all the items right, then hand in one's dictation as the time is out. Learn the teachers analysis carefully and try to find out the features of the reading problem of guessing words' meanings.
Ⅱ. Presentation Teaching and learning content 【 10-12 min】 Show and teach the students the methods for taking tests of this part in the process of doing relevant exercises. Carefully learn the methods and take necessary notes. Besides, actively take part in doing the exercise.

Ⅲ. Practice Exercises for consolidation 【 10-15 min】 To help the students to reinforce the learning, have them do some relevant exercises on the Revision Book Three, each in a limited time. And then check the answers one by one. Focus on finishing the relevant exercises by using the methods and steps learned above, and show one's results in advance to the teacher to check whether one does a good job or not.
Ⅳ. Promotion Summary 【 2-5 min】 At the end of the class, ask several students to recall the learning content so as to strengthen one's mastering. To help oneself memorize the methods and steps for solving the reading problems of guessing words' meanings, volunteer to recall the content in front of the whole class.
