2. 由“where”引导的特殊疑问句
构成方式：Where be …？其中be（is, am, are）的形式要与主语在人称和数上保持一致。一般是询问“某人或某物在什么地方”。21·世纪*教育网
①当主语为单数时，be动词应使用is，回答时用代词it代替主语。
Where is my ball 我的球在哪儿？
It’s on the table. 在桌子上。
②当主语为复数时，be动词应使用are，回答时用代词they代替主语。

They are in the door. 它们在门上。
③当主语为第三人称单数时，be动词应使用is。
Where’s Jim 吉姆在哪里？
He’s under the tree. 他在树下面。
④当主语为其他人称时，be动词应使用are。
