It has short legs...) ②T: What body parts did you see in the video What’s the pattern of the word “short” (Teacher puts up the word cards on blackboard.) 1. ①Greet and chant together. ②answer the question. 通过chant,复习上节课所学的身体部位词汇及特征形容词:big, small, long, short;初步感知今日句型:It has...;边说边做,快速热身并进入英语学习状态。
Presentation 15mins 1.Set the situation(3min) T: Because you are doing great, so today we will have a spring trip. (PPT: pictures of spring trip) T: Guess where are we going (PPT: clues---puzzles of 3 animals including rabbit, elephant and zebra) T: Because they are all animals, so we going to the zoo! (PPT: show the picture of the zoo) T:wow! There are so many animals at the zoo! Can you say the name of them (PPT: show the map of the zoo where shows the shadow of the monkey, pictures of elephant& giraffe and a rest room) T: Now let’s begin our trip! 2、Guess and say(5min) ①T: What is the first animal Look the clues and make a guess. (PPT: Clues--- It has a long tail. It has small eyes. It has small ears. It has a thin body.) ②T: Fill in the blanks with numbers as quick as you can! It has ___long tail. It has ___thin body. It has ___ small eyes. It has ___ small ears. T: Good. Here one tail, we also can say a tail. One body, we can say a body. Let’s say it together. Ss: It has a long tail. It has small eyes. It has small ears. It has a thin body. 3、Think and act(7min) T: What is the second animal (PPT: pictures of an elephant) T: Look,who is also at the zoo S: The teacher and 3 pupils. T: Wow, great! Who are they S: Miss White, John, Chenjie and Mike. T: Guess what they are talking about. (Ter. invites 2 students to answer) Watch the video& fill in the blanks T: Now let’s watch a video. Answer the name of animals. 2、 Guess the name of the animal with clues. Fill in the blanks and distinguish the differences between plete dialogues and act as an elephant. 1、设定春游的情境,激发学生兴趣,同时以3张打乱的动物拼图为线索,让学生猜测春游地点---动物园。 通过动物园总体图复习动物词汇,进入学习主题。 由动物园地图展示今日所要参观的三种动物。 2、句型学习 ①给出第一只动物的剪影以及对应谜语,让学生猜测是什么动物,在情境中初步学习句型“It has...” ②设置进阶抢答让学生掌握“It has +a/an+单数身体部位”及“It has +身体部位复数形式”的正确用法。 3、动物扮演 ①首先通过读图(源自课本)和提问,培养了学生的推理策略及技能,为接下来的视听做铺垫。 ②视听及填空,训练听力捕捉关键词的技能;老师对照答案适当讲解,呈现例子让学生学习连词用法,让学生模仿练习,举一反三;及时巩固刚才所学的句型单复数难点;为扮演活动埋伏笔。 ③角色扮演上变换人称,让学生由碎片化填空学习转化为有意识的口头输出。
Practice 20mins 4、Make a riddle(6min) T: What is the last animal A giraffe! Now discuss with your group members and make a riddle about giraffe together. Teacher invites two group to show their riddles. (PPT: clues---- Use these sentences: It has______. It has_____.) T: After visit 3 animals, are you tired Let’s go the rest room next! 5、Draw and talk(6min) T: Look!There are so many paintings on the wall. What animals did they draw Yes. Monsters! Can you draw a monster Draw a monster and introduce it in your group. Finally, choose the best monster in your group. I will invite 2 students to show your best monster. 6、I am little guide(8min) T: Look! There is a box. Wow. It is a magic box. (Look at the picture at PPT) (Teacher show the box which lies 4 animals.) T: Who want to be the little guide of the zoo You can reach your hand into the box and choose an animal. Then you can introduce it to us. (Magic box: rabbit, lion, dog, panda) Clues: Hi, everyone! I am xx,your little guide. Welcome to our zoo! Here are elephant, ___, ____,___and so on. Come here and look at this (names of animals). Size It has… Small/big/long/short Head/ leg/mouth/nose/tail/body Color It is black/white/brown/yellow... Look It is… Lovely/cute/beautiful ...... 4、Discuss and make a riddle about giraffe. 5、Draw a monster and introduce it to their group members. 6、Create dialogues and role play. 谜语创作 从上一步的读谜语猜动物到编谜语,在语言的运用上是一个大的提升。又因为给出了语言结构支架,并增加小组讨论,降低了难度,绝大部分同学都能完成该学习任务。 5、谁的怪物最奇怪 以画画与组内发言的形式,激发学生兴趣并巩固所学知识,老师课堂观察各组,检验学生学习成效。 6、我是小导游 巩固知识:抽盲盒摸出动物并介绍。以设计对话和表演对话的活动,考验学生反应能力以及对句型的掌握程度。 拓展空间:①老师另外提供了上节课的句型“It is...+adj.”,帮助学生区分两个句型。②引导学生多角度描述动物,比如身体颜色、动物习性等,丰富语料,激发输出。
Expansion 3min 7、Look and think Teacher play a video and show pictures in PPT. T: Can we feed the animals at the zoo Share your feelings with us. Ss look at the picture and say: No! T: Don’t feed the animals at the zoo. 8、Summary Teacher guide student to review the important sentence pattern according to the blackboard design. 7、Watch the video and share feelings. 7、升华与思考 通过观看英语短视频,让学生直观了解随意投喂动物园动物的危害,明白要爱护动物,在动物园不乱投喂食物。 7、通过板书总结今日所学,突出重点句型及描述动物的思路(size, color, look)。
Homework 2mins 必做: Describe your pet or toy animals using the following sentence pattern. “It is…” “It has...” 选做: ①Record a video of your introduction of your pet or toy animals. ②Draw your favorite animals and introduce it to your parents. Bring you drawing to our class. (把学生的画粘贴在黑板“班级动物园“一栏中) Finish the homework after class. 必做作业:保证每位同学在课后都复习句型,保证输出。 选做作业:根据学生水平适当增加一些梯度作业,拍视频便于老师检验学习成果及给出反馈;画画的形式有趣,在口头输出外增加笔头输出。
