set off 出发，动身，启程。
e.g. Mr. Liang will set off for Beijing next Sunday.

(1) watching you all heading back home是现在分词短语，表示伴随动作。
(2)head v.朝(某方向)行进。
e.g. She headed towards the library.她朝图书馆走去。

5. Michael, I know you don’t like to write, but you must promise to send e-mails to us often. 迈克尔，我知道你不喜欢写信，但你一定要答应经常给我们发电子邮件。
promise在此作动词，意为“许诺，答应，保证”。其主要用法如下：
