一、构成Grammar Focus

1) 单音节词和少数双音节词一般在词尾
加-er. 如:
cold – colder high – higher
long – longer fast – faster

late – later nice – nicer ⑶以重读闭音节结尾的词,应先双写末尾
字母再加-er. 如:
big – bigger fat – fatter
thin – thinner red – redder

⑷以 “辅音字母+y”结尾的词,应先把 “y”改为 “i”,再加-er. 如:
easy – easier happy – happier
lazy – lazier heavy – heavier
early – earlier friendly - friendlier⑸多音节的词前面加more构成比较级, 如:

更为重要的是:
在单词末尾加词缀构成词形变化的单词,也用 “more+原形”构成比较级。
①-ed: tired – more tired
② -ing: interesting – more interesting
③-ful: beautiful – more beautiful

1.比较级表示两者 (人或事物) 的比较。

比较A、B两事物, 问其中哪一个较…时
用此句型。如:
哪个大?地球还是月亮?
谁画得好,Tom还是John?Which is bigger, the moon or the earth?Who draws better, Tom or John?3: “越来越…”:比较级+and +比较级 1. warm – warmer and warmer 越来越暖和
例句:春天来了,天气变得越来越暖和了。

2. beautiful – more and more beautiful
例句:我们的学校变得越来越漂亮了。
