三、教学过程
Step 1 Warming up
Watch a video about a family, and ask Ss to share their feelings.(3 minutes)
Step 2 Lead-in
1. Show some pictures to Ss and ask which family they like best and the reasons.
2. Ask Ss to answer these questions. (3 minutes)
(1) Do you have any brothers or sisters
(2) Can you get on well with your family
(3) Who do you ask for help when you have problems
Step 3 Pre-reading
Show the picture in 3a and ask Ss to predict some information.(2 minutes)
1. What’s the problem with them
T: They argue with each other.
2. How do you feel when they argue
T: Sad, nervous, terrible, upset...

Read the letters quickly and discuss these questions.(2 minutes)
