Welcome to Woodlands Junior School. Our school is big and it has 380 students aged between 7 and 11. However, it only had 108 students when it was founded on 10th September 1964.
As you can see, the school has a huge yard and next to it is the main teaching building. It is a two-storey building with twelve classrooms, six on each floor. In each classroom there is a computer, an overhead projector （投影仪） and a whiteboard. It also has a small reading area with different kinds of books offered by the students.
Our school library is used for all the reading classes weekly and at lunchtime. The members of the reading club also meet here and do some reading after school.
We have a fantastic school hall. It is the place where we hold many events, such as school plays, concerts and indoor games.
We also have a well-equipped music room for music lessons, a computer room with thirty-two computers and a large staffroom for teachers to have a rest during lunchtime.
We have two playgrounds as well. They are used for ball games and track events（径赛）. Our students enjoy themselves here after school.
