Unit 5 shopping Part B
一、教学内容及分析:
本课是福建教育出版社出版的《英语》第四册第五单元的第二课时,继续谈论跟购物相关的信息,主要要求学生掌握句型How much is it It is …yuan. 并掌握sixty、seventy、eighty、ninety、a hundred这几个新词。
二、学生情况分析:
四年级的孩子已经累积了一定语言知识和语用能力,他们既保持着中低年级孩子学英语的浓厚兴趣,又不满足于简单的机械操练,因此在向高年级过渡的这段时期,我更注重培养学生语用能力的提升,但因为是借班上课,在互动和沟通过程中仍会存在一些生疏。
教学目标:
1、 能用句型How much is it It’s… yuan.来询问并回答物品价格,并计算清单总价。
2、 能在认识人民币的过程中,掌握整十数字的单词。
3、 能用英语为山区贫困儿童制定购物清单,同时激发孩子的爱心和同情心。
教学重、难点:
教学重点:听、说、认、读有关服装类单词以及重点句型:They’re very
expensive. 和They're too small. How much is it 及How much are they 的用法
教学难点:能够在图片的帮助下读懂课文内容,并且完成课后练习;能够描述衣物及问价。
教学过程:
Step 1: Free Talk and Lead-in:
一、 Free Talk and teach 60~100:
T: Hello, boys and girls, welcome to my English class. Today we are going to learn Unit 5 Part B. let’s go on talking about shopping. When we go shopping, in your opinion , what is the most important things. Yes, money! Look, what is it Yes, it’s 50 yuan. If you have 50 yuan.
What can you buy
Ss: I can buy….
T: It’s 10 yuan. 10 and 50 is 60. It’s 60 yuan. It’s 70 yuan. …It’s 100 yuan. Please hold the money, and say: I have 100 yuan. I can buy….
(教师依次出示10元、20元、100元人民币, 带孩子一边认识一边说说能买什么。)
二、 Lead-in
T: If we have more money, we can buy more things. We can buy many school things, beautiful clothes, some delicious food and any kinds of toys. Do you like toys Yes, our friends, Ben and Kate also like toys very much. Now, Ben, Kate and their mother are in the supermarket. What do they like Let’s go and have a look.
Step 2:Presentation and Practice:
一、 听课文回答问题:
1. What does Ben like How much is it
2. What does Kate like How much is it
3. How much are the tomatoes Let’s listen again, then think about the answer.
二、 听第二遍课文
1. How much are these tomatoes They’re 30 yuan.
2. Now Let’s play a guessing game.(猜价格游戏)
三、 跟读课文、同桌对话。
四、Now, let’s have a summary, when we want to go shopping, we need to know:
1. What do you need
2. Where can you buy
3. How much is it
4. How much money do you have
Step 3: Consolidation and Task:
一、 导出任务:
T: If we don’t have enough money, we can’t buy what we want, even what we need, right You know, in some place, there’re some poor kids. They have no money for food and for life. I want to show you some pictures. Let’s see it together.
1. They’re so poor. Do you want to help them Ok, first, let’s discuss what they need. They need…. (教师根据学生建议,板书进行归类:school things, food, toys, clothes)
2. I think they need some sports things, too. So, last weekend, my friend and I made a shopping list for the sports things. We discuss what we need to buy and we went to the supermarket. let me show you what happened.(播放视频)
3. 教师示范清单制作过程,带领学生一起制定 My friend and I made a shopping list about sports things. Now, let’s make a shopping list about food together. OK Do you have any suggestion For example, “Can we buy some…”
Ss: Can we buy some…
T: Ok, they need some….(教师写清单)
T: Now, you can ask me, how much is it I will give you some suggestion.
S1: How much is it
T: It’s … yuan. Look, I have 180 yuan. Let’s make the number of the school things. And the end, how much is it
Ss: It’s … yuan.
4. 教师请一个学生上台,根据清单内容编对话:
A: Let’s make a shopping list.
B: OK. They need some food.
A: Can we buy…
B: How much is it (单价)
B: It’s … yuan.
A: OK, let’s get some.
B: How much is it
A: It’s … yuan.(总价)
二、 分组合作
T: Now, make a shopping list by yourself. This time, please discuss food.
任务一:用句型"Can we buy some... ""They need...."制定清单,不允许说中文,限时2分钟。
任务二:用"How much is the ... "的句型给清单上的物品估价,并算出总价。哪个小组最接近老师给出的总价,为冠军。不允许说中文,限时2分钟。
任务三:模仿范例编对话。
三、 情感教育:
1. It is more blessed to give than to receive.施比受更为有福。
2. "want"≠"need", don't waste money.
Step 3: Homework:
在黑板上选择一个种类的物品,用英文制定一份购物清单,调查并填写价格,下节课带来讨论。(2人一份)
