Step 1 Warm up1、播放the birthday chant2、引出课题：when is Toby‘s birthday？Step 2 Presentation1、pupils review the month words again and again 2、When is your birthday？鼓励学生用相应的月份回应老师的问题3、listen to tape recorder and circle the children’s birthday months. 4、listen again and repeat and present the sentence structures on the board.Eg: When is Zhaowei’s birthday When is Thomas’ birthday When is Karen’s birthday When is David’s birthday Karen’s birthday is in March.教师解读句子的注意点指导学生进行练习。 Step 3 Consolidation1、听录音练习。2、看课文分组练习。3、完成课文第四部分4、写读句子5、询问同班同学的生日，并联系组句：eg：Cuixiaomin’s birthday is in march.When is cuixiaomin;s birthday Step 4 Sum up1:句型总结练习Step 5 Homework1、 读写句子及完整答语5次2、 完成练习册第十三页的题目 Read the chant and review the month wordsReview and remember 学说：my birthday is in November…… Finish 3a and 3b 学生: 练习句型 学生按要求完成练习，锻炼非智力因素在学习仲的重要位置。同时学生很愿意在第四部分找相应答案，故意的神秘性和不让学生交流刺激了学生快速完成作业的信心。

课后反思 本课内容明确，学生复习旧知并且学习了新内容，整节课遵循学生学习由易到难的规律，通过激发学生的积极性，让他们在学习中体验快乐在快乐中接受知识。课堂内容紧凑，节奏快，可能对学生的自身素质要求比较高，所以扎实的基础是英语提高的必经之路。
