教学内容分析 1.来源&内容： 本单元来自北京版英语五年级上册的第三个单元。本单元的话题是询问，介绍重阳节，万圣节等中西方节日，“Can you tell me more about... ”具有承上启下的作用，承接学生学过的关于节日、购物的相关话题，以及中国传统节日端午节、儿童节时间的问法回答，及节日大概的介绍。同时，为接下来相关的话题学习做铺垫。 2.纵向知识关联： 功能：询问并回答，介绍，描述，情感。 话题：询问、介绍重阳节、万圣节等中西方节日。 语言知识： 3（上）Unit 7 When is Thanksgiving Can you tell me some of your holidays, Sara When is Thanksgiving It’s in November.3(下)Unit 5 Children’s DayTomorrow is Children’s Day.4(下)Unit 3 Can you tell me the way — Can you tell me the way to the gas station — Please drive on, and then turn left at the first corner.4(下)Unit 5 Is May Day a holiday In China, we also call it Labour Day. 3.横向知识关联： 第三单元学习的话题是围绕询问，介绍重阳节，万圣节等中西方节日展开的。学习在特殊的节日所做的特殊事情及表现形式。学习了中西方历史文化背景的不同。其中L9是询问回答重阳节时间的表达；L10是学习重阳节、端午节、春节和元宵节4个中国传统节日的特色活动及其相关信息；L11万圣节、端午节、感恩节、复活节4个中西方传统节日的特色活动及其相关信息。三课都需要重点学习和不断强化的是： (1)能听懂会转述关于询问，介绍中西方节日的日期文化的日常用语，并能在实际情境中运用。并渗透中西方文化历史背景的不同。 (2)能够在特殊的节日对所做的特殊事情成段进行转述，并能在实际情境中灵活运用如谈论端午节，春节等。 (3)了解中西方重大节日的特色活动及相关信息。 (4)养成尊老爱幼的传统美德。 4.单元探究设计：
学情分析 1.年龄特征： 五年级英语在小学英语教学中起着承上启下的作用，既是四年级的衍生又是六年级的铺垫。我们的学生虽然已有四年的英语学习经验，但还有以下一些问题需要解决。部分学生学习兴趣不是很高，个别的学生甚至对学习有厌恶感，同时，许多学生还是为学习而学习，谈不上兴趣问题，回家不会学习，无正确的学习方法，不知如何看书，学习态 度谈不上十分端正，回家以后巩固时间很少，且缺乏有效的巩固手段，练的机会明显不足。部分学生学习的目的性不是很强，导致学习习惯不好，学习无明确的计划，有作业就写，无作业就玩。老师布置的作业不能按时完成，回家看书也只是应付家长，作业不能很好完成。 2.知识储备： 第三单元是关于询问，介绍重阳节，万圣节等中西方节日的话题。本单元对于学生学习并不是特别陌生，三年级，四年级分别接触到了节日及购物的课题学习，四年级下学期学习了中国传统节日端午节，儿童节时间的问法回答及对节日大概的介绍。本单元是对前面所学知识的扩展。如:询问某一节日在什么时间 When is Children' s Day 回答节日的具体时间用 It is on June 1st. 没有具体时间只知道“在……的中间”时 It is in the middle of .... 3.能力水平： 五年级的学生已具备能够准确从对话当中提炼主要信息的能力；能在语境当中用合适的日常用语表达意愿、建议和邀请；能掌握情态动词的一般用法。
单元目标 在本单元教学结束之际，学生能： 1. 能听、说、读、写核心词汇autumn, family, fruit, climb, usually, him, dress, night, as。 2. 能在语境中学习句型—When is the Mid-Autumn Festival，Lingling —It's on the fifteenth day of the eighth month in the Chinese calendar. —We eat Chongyang cake on that day. —I'm going to visit my grandpa. —Can you tell me more about Halloween —Children dress up at night and knock on doors for candies. We enjoy dressing up as superheroes or aliens.； 3.了解中外重大节日； 4.了解感恩节； 5.养成尊老爱幼的传统美德。
第三课时教学设计
一、教学目标
通过本课学习，学生能够：
1.在看、听、说的活动中，获取和梳理对话信息，理解对话中向他人询问更多信息，并回答所使用的表达“Can you tell me more about... ”;(学习理解）
2.在教师和同伴的帮助下，分角色表演对话，演绎对话场景，呈现核心语言在真实语境中的运用，并会对其中的语言、行为以及同伴的表现进行多角度评价；（应用实践）
3.在小组内进行真实语境的创设，向他人询问更多信息，并回答，了解西方节日文化，丰富文化背景知识，具有参与西方节日文化活动的能力。（迁移创新）
