Maybe you’ve just started learning a new language. Maybe you've been studying to pass exams or to get the job you want in the future. Maybe you' ve reached a point and you feel like you' ve got a good enough understanding of grammar, but not enough vocabulary to put together a sentence and conversation easily. Regardless of what stage you are at, these ways of learning vocabulary will help you progress.
Firstly, it is advisable to be realistic and limit yourself to learning just a few words a day.Put it this way, if you learn ten new words every day, that’s 70 new words in a week, 300 per month and 3, 650 per year! That’s an awful lot of new vocabularies.
Secondly, this is all very well, but you have to remember the phrase "easily remembered, easily forgotten. " It is important to strengthen your learning by studying and memorizing vocabulary and using it as much as possible.
Lastly, techniques such as word maps and word lists work well, especially if you want to study just one topic, or if you are reading a book and frequently come across words you don't understand. It is often easier to learn words within a certain sentence, as you are able to make links between them and remember some more easily than others.
A good example is the word"book". When you look at a book you have the title, publisher, image, thickness, author and then, of course, whether it is hardback or paperback. Pace yourself and remember that learning a language is a marathon, not a fast run—you can't learn everything in one go.
34.According to the first paragraph, maybe you study a new language to________.
A.communicate with foreigners B.get a good job in the future.
C.put sentences together D.go abroad
35.The writer advises us to________.
A.learn as many new words as possible every day
B.learn a few new words every day
C.look up every new word in the dictionary
D.pay less attention to the words we can't remember
36.What is the example for in Paragraph 5
A.Telling us it is often easier to learn words within a certain sentence.
B.Telling us the importance of the word"book".
C.Just an example and there is no meaning.
D.Telling us if we have a book, we should have the title.

How do you practise speaking English Most students speak more only in class. Some of the students talk with friends in English. Some students practise speaking English in other ways.
In my opinion, we should talk with our partners in English as much as we can. Also, we should often listen to English stories in order to improve our understanding of English. Never be afraid of speaking English in front of others! This is quite important. Over and above, we should learn more English words. Only in this way, can we be good English speakers!
