There are more than thirty kinds of dolphins around the world, many living in the waters around Australia. The most common type of dolphin is the bottlenose dolphin. This dolphin can weigh up to 150~650kg and reach 2~4 metres in length.
Dolphins eat plenty of food daily, totaling about 50% of their body weight. Dolphins can stay under the water for about 15minutes. They have very good eyesight. They can see both in and out of the water. However, they can only see in front of them and below them.
Dolphins like to hunt and travel in groups. In a group, there are at least 10~12 dolphins. They can look after each other. Like humans, dolphins have many ways of communicating, including body language, sound and touch.

A passenger (乘客) told an air hostess that he needed a cup of water to take his medicine when the plane just took off. She said to him that she would bring him the water in ten minutes.
