fewer意为“更少”，是few“少的”的比较级。由所学知识可知，few修饰可数名词复数，因此fewer也只能修饰可数名词复数trees等。
less也意为“更少”，是little“少的”的比较级。由所学知识可知，little修饰不可数名词，因此less也只能修饰不可数名词clean air，free time等。
