教学内容与学情分析
1.教学内容分析:本单元的话题是Tall buildings。课文呈现的情境是Miss Gao带着Lily和Wang Tao去她家的情景。,学习询问对方住几楼层。本课要学习和掌握的词汇有building,floor,bridge, twelfth, living room,would和句型which floor do you live on?On the ---floor
2.学生情况分析:五年级的学生对英语有一定的兴趣,大部分学生能够在直观的图片动画中主动学习英语,且能够大胆开口,乐于用学到的英语与人沟通交流。创设真实的情景,能让他们身临其境,通过听,看,说,读,写学到更多的英语知识,做到学以致用。我们已经学习了first, second, third和fourth这四个顺序数词;本节课在复习这四个序数词的基础上,继续学习 fifth到 twelfth。教学的过程中,需要特别注重新旧知识的联结,鼓励学生把所学知识运用到实际生活中。
教学目标
知识目标:
1)能听、说、认读单词: building, floor, would, living room, bridge等
2)能听、说、认读第5-第12的序数词 ( fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth, eleventh, twelfth);
3)能听懂会说句型: Which floor do you live on —On the____ floor. I can see _____ from the window.。
4)功能:能够谈论居住楼层环境
技能目标:
1)能表达自己所住的楼层,或XX在哪一楼层,表达该楼层的居住环境;
2)能邀请朋友到家里做客
情感目标:
通过学习,能够做一个礼貌邀约和热情待客的小主人。
教学重点
1、重点:能正确运用句型Which floor do you live —On the____ floor. 进行询问和表达自己所住楼层。
2、难点:5-12的序数词(fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth, eleventh, twelfth)的辨别与发音。
3、关键:在认清5-12的序数词的规律的基础上,通过游戏和练习来操练句型Which floor do you live —On the____ floor.

教学过程:
Step 1 Warming up
1. Greeting. Let’s enjoy a number song.
T:Just now we enjoyed a nice song about numbers. Try to say the numbers quickly. After that, you can get a big surprise.
2. Review some numbers. (5,11,7,8,9,3,2,12) 引出building建筑物
3. Today Let’s talk about tall buildings.

【设计意图】通过PPT复习学过的数字单词,巧妙利用藏在数字单词后的(tall buildings)引导学生谈论他们住宅,激发了学生已有的知识储备,为新课学习做好铺垫。 Step 2 Presentation 1. Teach: building :
T: (出示高楼大厦) I live in a tall building . Do you live in a tall building (出示高老师及高楼图). Miss Gao says,” I lives in a tall building .”念三遍。
2 Teach: floor This building is very tall. It has many floors.
3.单词教学
Teach: Which floor do you live on 句子教学。操练:句子接龙
4. Listen and choose:which floor does Miss Gao live on?
5 .Check the answers: On the 12th floor.
6 Teach :twelfth 及On the twelfth floor.
【设计意图】让学生初步感知课文,带着问题有针对性地听录音,引导学生观察图并猜测,有意识地培养学生通过视听课文自主寻找答案的能力。
