本课时教学是依据闽教版小学英语五年级下册Unit8 Dates of the Month Part B设计而成。 二、课型类别 本课为阅读写作课型
三、学情分析
五年级学生已学习英语近三年时间,已具备初步的英语语感及初步的听说读写能力。五年级学生开始喜欢参与思考类型的教学活动,所以在本课设计中加入大量需要学生通过观察和阅读课文才能完成的沉淀式教学活动。
四、设计思想
根据孩子的年龄特点和接受能力,通过回答关于Date, Who, What的三大类问题,展开对课文三段落的精读教学,最后再通过板书中的框架进行课文复述,从而达到本课的教学目标。

1.词汇:能认读和正确书写词汇before, people, Mrs.等。
2.句型:…is busy doing\with… December 25 is Christmas Day.
3.功能:谈论日期与节日。

1.能使用…is busy doing\with…描述他人正忙于做某事。

二、Review and leading
1.复习节日 T: Great. First, let’s play a game. Listen to the music and talk about the festivals. 点击一首歌,学生马上反应,师点击确认。
(设计意图:教学之初采用音乐方式导入复习内容能够活跃学习氛围,为学生之后的学习打开兴趣的大门。)
2.说句子 T:师做示范说 January1 is New Year’s Day. Is it right 同时下方出现划线句型。 请几个个学生补充完整句子,小组说、全班说。

一、学习课文第一段。
1.看课文视频,说出本课三个日期

2.教学新词Mrs.

3.通过回答What are they busy doing 教学新句型

Step3. Consolidation 复述课文
T:Up to now, we’ve learnt this story. Let’s retell it. 拿出圣诞节的磁条,贴表格右上方。
S:学生复述课文。
T:This time, make it more difficult. 撤掉第一段,让学生复述第一段。再撤掉第而三段,学生复述 最后空空的黑板,让学生看课件的课文三幅图再复述一次。

(设计意图:本环节通过三种不同形式的复述课文,检测学生掌握课文情况同时达到巩固本课课文知识点的作用。)
Step4.Extension.
一、看范例说句子 课件出示 师做示范
T:出示春节图片 Which festival

二、写短文
T:Now I want you to write down your passage. 学生写完后,老师请学生上台读短文。) 三、情感升华 播放春节、元宵、端午、中秋节等前夕人们忙碌的身影的短片,告诉学生们要享受节日,享受生活。
(设计意图:本环节通过先让学生大量地说,然后再自然过度到写文章,降低了写作难度,学生愿意写同时也可以做到课内及时展示,学生的成就高。)
