1. Introduce my pen pal Tina to Ss. Tell Ss:
T: Tina had a school trip. Where did she go? Can you guess?
Show Ss a photo of aquarium to help Ss guess.
Teach the word “ aquarium”
T: She went to the aquarium.
2. Get Ss to name some sea animals in the aquarium.
T: What animals can Tina see in the aquarium?
Provide some pictures about sea animals to help Ss.
Let Ss match the pictures with the names of the sea animals.
3. Get Ss to talk whether the animals in the pictures were in the aquarium.
T: Were there any sharks/dolphins/ dogs…in the aquarium?
T offer help while Ss answer the questions.
4. Pair work: Talk about the animals in the aquarium.
5. Present more pictures and show Ss what else Tina did on her school trip.
6. T: Tina’s friend Kevin didn’t go to the trip. So he wants to know about Tina’s trip.
