Unit 4 A Spring Outing Part A
一.教学内容分析:
本节课所教授的是由福建教育出版社出版的《英语》(三年级起点)五年级下册Unit 4 A Spring Outing Part A。该课以春游为背景,谈论春游前的一系列准备工作,要求能够用be going to的句式谈论春游前做的准备。培养学生学会做计划,合理安排事情的能力。
本节课是该单元的第一课时,继续学习巩固be going to表示计划、准备做某事的句型。同时,也为Part B 中be doing这一进行时的学习提供了情境和知识基础。因此,本课时的扎实掌握,将是整单元的学习的成功掌握的第一步。
二.学生情况分析:
本节课的授课对象是五年级学生,这一年龄阶段的学生在活泼好动的基础上,认知水平有了较大的发展,积累了一定的生活经验;学生的个性呈现出独立张扬的一面,明显有了独立的思想,爱表现自我,竞争意识强;在知识构成上,经过两年多的英语学习,学生已经掌握不少话题的语言点。因此,教授在授课中应积极调动学生已有的知识经验,激活学生的语言积累,激发学生的参与意识,提供语言使用平台,让学生在学习的过程中,体验到成功的快乐。
三.教学目标分析
Ⅰ.知识与技能
1. 学习词汇:spring outing, climb, mountain, water, thirsty, camera等。
2. 听懂会说会认读句子:What’re you going to take with you
I’m going to take … with me.
3. 能听懂、朗读课文内容。
4. 能运用以上单词和句子谈论为春游所做的准备。
5. 有初步组织英语小短文的能力。
Ⅱ.学习策略
1. 学生能模仿课文,谈论春游前的一系列准备工作。
2. 通过一系列的课堂教学活动,激发学生的学习兴趣,学习积极性和培养小组合作精神。
3. 学会拓展应用句子。
Ⅲ.情感态度
1. 培养学生合作交流能力,树立主动竞争意识;
2. 培养学生学会做计划、合理安排事情的能力。
四.教学重点、难点分析
教学重点:
1. 学习词汇:spring outing, climb, mountain, water, thirsty, camera 等。
2. 运用句型What’re you going to take with you I’m going to take … with me.表达春游前要准备携带的东西。
教学难点:
1.掌握短语 climb a mountain, take a camera,介词短语with me/ you;
2.讲解some的用法。
3.运用所学句型,谈论春游,并学会制作春游准备计划清单。
五.教学过程设计
Step 1 Warming up and Leading-in
1. Greetings and warming-up.
(1) T: Hello, boys and girls. Nice to see you again.
Ss: Hello, Ms Li. Nice to see you, too.
T: Before the new class, let’s enjoy a poem.
(2) Enjoy the poem.(伴着背景音乐,师生诵读诗歌)
T: Quite good. Which season is the poem about
Ss: Spring.
设计意图:①Poem的使用,让学生有抒情地诵读,调动课堂气氛,吸引学生注意力,拉拢师生距离,引导学生迅速进入英语语言环境。②营造spring的情境为本课学习提供相之呼应的背景。
2. Leading-in
(1) 教学a spring outing, 并揭示主题。(PPT呈现春游图)
T: In spring, the flowers are beautiful. The trees are green, right
This Sunday, we’re going for a spring outing. Do you like a spring outing
Ss: Yes.
T: Good. I like a spring outing, too. (教学单词outing及短语a spring outing,板书标题)
(2) 用卡片教授句型We’re going for a spring outing.
设计意图:用图片更直观地展现春游图,学生们也更感兴趣,激发学生参与的积极性;同时,直接揭示主题。
Step 2 Presentation and Practice
1.初步感知课文,回答问题,引出竞赛机制。
(1)带着问题,观看课文视频
T: Miss Gao and her pupils are going for a spring outing with us. Are you happy
Ss: Yes!
T: All right. But before a spring outing, we have to make a list and do a good preparation.
Now let’s watch the video, and see what do Miss Gao and her pupils prepare for the spring outing. Then, answer the questions:
① What are they going to do
② What is Wang Tao going to take
③ What is Sally going to take
设计意图:设置与学习任务相符合的问题,带着问题感知课文,不仅能使学生集中听力的注意力,也让使学生有针对性地听出本文的关键信息。
(2)教授climb a mountain, 和We’re going to climb a mountain. 引出竞赛机制
T: So, what are they going to do
Ss: 爬山
T:Yes, Miss Gao says, we are going to climb a mountain.
老师边说,边画一座山,教学并操练短语和句型。
T: Our two new friends, Sally and Wang Tao are going to climb a mountain. The girls are Sally. The boys are Wang Tao. Let’s have a match. When one gets one step ahead, let’s say “climb, climb, climb a mountain”. Are you clear
引出本节课的竞赛机制—爬山
Ss: Yes.
设计意图:将男女生分为两组,比赛爬山,契合本课春游的主要活动,并要求他们表现自信,能试图更多地表现自己。
(3)T: Wang Tao, what’re you going to take with you
S: 水
T: Yes. Wang Tao says, “I’m going to take some water with me.”
Sally, what’re going to take with you
S: 照相机
T: Quite good. Sally says, “I’m going to take a camera with me.”
(4) Watch and listen to the text again.
2. 教学句型 --What are you going to take with you -- I’m going to take … with me.
(1) 老师出示实物书包,表达 “I’m going to take a bag with me.” 并板书。用动作描述 “with me” 蕴含“随身携带”之意。
(2) (a) 由书包里面的一瓶水,引出water. 教授单词water,大小声操练。
T: There are many things in my bag. Firstly, I’m going to take some water with me, too.
教授单词water和 some water。
T: I’m going to take some water with me.
(将水递给学生) Are you going to take some water with you
Ss: Yes. I’m going to take some water with me.
(b) 教授thirsty和句型 We’ll be thirsty.
T: When we climb a mountain, we’ll be very tired. So we need to drink more water. Or we’ll be thirsty. (一边讲解一边做动作)
引出单词 thirsty。强调ir 的发音,并举一反三学会自然拼读 thirty, shirt, skirt。开火车操练单词
及句型We’ll be thirsty.
设计意图:老师用动作及丰富的表情演绎出登山的疲惫,引出thirsty,形象生动,易于理解;让学生学会字母组合发音, 学会自然拼读。
(3) PPT呈现orange juice 和tea, 复习 some orange juice 和 some tea.
(4)PPT呈现fruits, 引出 some fruits.
(5)总结some 加可数名词和不可数名词的用法。
(6) 手势做出拍照动作,引出camera及take a camera. 边做拍照的动作,边带读单词。同时,操练短语take a camera及句子I’m going to take a camera with me.
(7) 拿出最后一样东西—an umbrella, 并联合句型进行操练。
设计意图:逐一罗列老师为春游所做的装备,不断重复再现句型I’m going to take … with me.,有利于学生掌握句型,学会用该句型谈论春游前的准备。
(8) 运用句型“-What’re you going to take with you -I’m going to take … with me.” 进行各种形式的问答。
(a) T:I’m going to take so many things with me. How about you What’re you going to take with you
引出句型并教授, 结合PPT罗列的东西,引导学生用I‘m going to take…with me.回答。
(b) Pair works. PPT呈现Ask and Answer部分的内容,同桌两个人用“-What’re you going to take with you -I’m going to take … with me.”讨论你们春游准备带什么,并请学生进行演示。
设计意图:通过师生间各种形式的问答,老师不断抛出问句 “What’re you going to take with you ”, 学生回答;以至到最后让学生与学生之间的问答,难度逐渐加大,注重学生的语言表达能力的培养;两两合作,操练句型,让每个学生参与到学习活动中,在问答中互相学习,互相帮助,培养学生的合作精神,提高学生的语言运用能力。
Step 3 Extension and Summary
1.Make your spring outing list.
设计意图:通过一系列的学习以后,由知识点的输入变为输出,检验学生的学习情况。让学生学会制作春游计划,培养合理安排事情的能力。
2. 总结奖励情况,为赢者掌声鼓励,为输者加油,迎头赶上。
设计意图:总结性评价让学生可以清楚地了解自己及本组在这节课中的表现情况,加强了学生之间的团结协作,增强了学生的集体荣誉感。
Step 4 Homework
1. 完成你自己的春游出游清单。
2. 用本节课的主要句型,与你的同学谈论你为春游所做的准备。
