Topic My First Day at Senior High Teacher
Teaching Aims: 1.Get the students to learn some useful new words and expressions in this part. 2.Develop the students’ reading skills and enable them to learn how to use different reading strategies to read different reading materials. 3.Guide the students to use the language knowledge related to the topic to tell their experience on the first day of high school.
Teaching important Points: Lead the students to obtain the general idea of the text through skimming and intensive reading. Let the students master the key words and phrases in this part. Guide the students to understand the meaning of "a good beginning is half the success' in combination with the text and build up their confidence in high school life.
Teaching difficult points: 1.Let the students learn to analyze and solve problems ,and improve their reading level. 2.Guide the students to understand the meaning of the title. 3. Guide the students to read the article carefully,find out the relevant details and sort out the time order of the plot development.
