【教材分析】
1、课标对本节内容要求掌握句子 What will you do for Mom I’ll…来询问将要做的事并根据实际计划情况进行回答。
2. 本节课是《Mother’s Day》这一单元的第一课时,在已学的将来时基础上进一步询问和回答将要做的事,将第四单元学习内容运用到实际话题中,对已学知识进行了延伸和巩固。 【教学目标】
(1)、语言知识目标:
①.words:kiss, love, surprise, kind
②.sentence: What will you do for Mom I’ll…
(2)、语言技能目标:
①.能准确使用will来表达将要做的事。
②.能模仿范例写出计划要对母亲说的话和要为母亲做的事,然后用英语口头表达出来。 (3)、情感态度目标:通过谈论自己及周围人的母亲节计划,培养学生热爱母亲的情感并学会尽孝道。
【教学重、难点】
1.能灵活运用句型What will you do for Mom 询问他人的母亲节计划并能用句型I’ll give her... I’ll...for her. 的句型表达对妈妈的爱或心意。
2.掌握短语give somebody something 的表达
3.了解母亲节的有关知识。能用所学句子表达对母亲的爱。

Step1 Warming up
1. Greetings.
2. Sing a song: “Happy Children’s Day!”(按照Happy Birthday!旋律)
3. 复习Which festival is in … It’s …节日表达方法并了解母亲节的日期。引出本课题目Unit4 Mother’s Day Part A
4. 向学生介绍母亲节由来。
T: When is Mother’s Day this year

Step2 Lead in
1. On Mother’s Day, what will you do for Mom (引学生思考,学会用I’ll 表达)
2. 复习词组take a photo, give her some flowers, make a card
Step3 Presentation
(一)句子What will you do for Mom I’ll give her a card and say, “Happy Mother’s Day!”
1. 出示课文三个人物,教师边介绍边说T: “What will they do for Mom” 再次引起学生思考,之后教师再出示课文人物Ben, 全班一起问What will you do for Mom 引出句子。 Now listen and watch.”初步感知课文,回答问题并教学短语give her a card.
2. 巩固句型I’ll give her a/an/some________.(设置情境,让学生说句子。) eg: (出示母亲节图片)
T: Mother’s Day is coming! What will you give to your mother
S1: I’ll give her a dress.
S2: I’ll give her some flowers.
S3: I’ll give her…
(二)学习句子I’ll give her a big kiss and say, “I love you!”
1. 出示课文人物Kate,全班问What will you do for Mom
2. 再次听音频,选出答句。教学新词kiss和 love讲解并操练。
操练kiss: ①. 升降调 ②. 全班齐读 ③. 个别读
操练love:
升降调 eg. I will give my cousin a big kiss, and say: “I love you!”(替换my cousin, 练习句子)
(三)学习句子Let’s give her a surprise.及What kind of surprise
1.T: How about Sally 听音引出Sally说的话Let’s give her a surprise.
操练surprise
① 出示惊喜图片让学生感受含义。
②. 出示音标ur组合,升降调。
③. 小组看反应
④. 个别做惊喜的动作并读单词。
2. T:What kind of surprise 引出kind
操练 kind
①. find — kind ② 升降调 ③. 金手指 ④. 两两读
