难点分析 从知识角度分析为什么难 要求掌握基本点餐需要的词汇及基本句型,如对食物和饮料等种类及碗的大小的表达,同学们平常在点餐中基本使用汉语,用英语有些词不会。
从学生角度分析为什么难 学生们的词汇量少,要模拟生活点菜、用餐场景,并在该情景中运用当堂所学词汇和句型进行操练这对于学生来说句子表达困难。
难点教学方法 通过多媒体出示新词,帮助学生理解掌握重点词汇的意思及用法。 (2)通过听录音和真实情景创设,学会如何点餐。
教学环节 教学过程
导入 ⑴ Let’s do some sports(学生按教师的指令做动作)   Stand up! / Turn left./ Turn right/play volleyball/ run slowly/ run quickly(教师辅以手势) ⑵这些动作做完后,教师做干渴状和摸着肚子说:I’m thirsty. I’m hungry.然后做一个喝水和吃东西的动作并露出满意的表情。
知识讲解 (难点突破) Step1.(1)After doing sports, the teacher asks the students. T: Are you tired Are you hungry Ss: Yes. T: OK, Now, I bring some food for you.(教师出示卡片并问:“What would you like ”让学生根据自己的喜好,引导学生用“I’d like…”回答。并选出自己喜欢的食物,然后教师把该食物卡片送给说出想要某样食物的学生。 ⑵Teaching the new words.(运用多媒体课件,展示一系列精美的图片,学习有关食品词汇及有关面条的种类和碗的大小的词。For example: noodle(s),beef,cabbage(s),potato(es),mutton, chicken , special,size,bowl,mutton,large, medium, small, a bowl of .) Step 2. Work on 1a. Look at the pictures in 1a ,special 1 ,special 2 ,special 3 T: What’s in special 1 Ss: Beef and tomatoes. T: What’s in special 2 Ss: Chicken and potatoes. ...T: What’s in special 3 Ss: Mutton and carrots. 2.Match the words with the pictures(1a). 3. Check the answers. 4. Read the words after the teacher. Step 3.Work on 1b & Listening. 1.The teacher explains the task and then plays the tape for the first time.And let the students finish the task. 2.Check the answer. 3.The teacher explains the sentences.
课堂练习 (难点巩固) Step 4. Practice T: Now, I’m hungry, I will go to the noodles restaurant.There are three special noodles, But I don’t know how to choose. I also need your help .( the students asks and the teacher answers.) Ss: What would you like T: I’d like some ... Ss: What kind of noodles would you like T: I’d like some ... Ss:What size would you like T: I’d like a large / medium / small bowl. (Write down on the Blackboard.) Step 5. Groupwork 接下来,我将创设真实情境让同学们操练,于是我看了看手表,对同学们说:“中午时间到了,该吃午饭了,你和你的朋友去了“Tian Tian noodle house”吃午饭。请你们根据你和你的朋友在店里点餐时如何与服务员交涉的情景编写一段对话。同时拿出道具分发给事先分好的10个小组,每个组员拿好道具,分别扮演不同角色,如服务员帽子、菜单等。(学生共同合作编一段“服务员”与“顾客”之间的对话。) 1.Give students several minutes to make a conversation. T: Class,Here is a Tian Tian noodle house , Now your friends and you go to a restaurant to have noodles. Please make a dialogue about ordering noodles in groups of four. 1 student acts as an waiter ,3 students order food.It can include three sentences:“ What would you like ” ,“What kind of noodles would you like ”, “ What size would you like ”, and answers. After you get ready, I’ll ask a student to come in front of you to be a cook. When the group order the noodles, the cook must pick up the right picture and then put it up on the Blackboard. Let’s see who can work out correctly and quickly. ⑵Show time I’ll invite four groups to come in front of the class.When the group order the noodles, the waiter must pick up the right picture and then put it up on the Blackboard. Let’s see which groups can work out correctly and quickly. 4组同学表演完以后教师和其他同学们要及时做出点评。
小结 In this period, we’ve learned some words about food and expressions about how to order food.And we’ve also done some listening and speaking practice to consolidated what we learned.
