单元整体教学设计思路
第一课时：以“向新同学介绍学校”为学习情景，通过学习、操练与运用art room,classroom, computer room, library, musci room, playground等词汇；能运用Is there... / Are there ... How many ...are there ... 等句型描述自己的学校。
第二课时：以“介绍学校”为学习情景，学习、操练与运用Is there... / Are there ... How many ...are there ... 等核心句型，巩固运用序数词来介绍楼层。
第三课时：以“Sam和Bobby的公园之旅”为主题，较为熟练地操练与运用本单元的核心词汇和句型。通过英美国家的底层表达，进一步感受英美文化差异，提高跨文化意识。
第四课时：通过“介绍我们的学校”为主题，进一步巩固、运用本单元的核心词汇和句型，通过对学校的描述，搭建写作的框架，利用思维导图，帮助学生构思。此外，能熟练运用元音字母c在单词中的发音，朗读语音儿歌。

教学对象分析
学生经过四年的英语学习，能对常用的单词、词组和简单句子做到正确运用，且具有一定的词汇量。本单元，继续在培养学生语篇阅读能力的同时，努力让学生多读多记多背英语单词、词组与句子，注重对语法知识的理解与运用，有意识地逐步培养学生的阅读短文和写作能力。
兴趣是孩子英语学习最好的老师，本单元以“新同学”为主题，更容易激发学生的学习热情和兴趣。教学过程中，更要注重培养起学生良好的朗读、交流和书写习惯，培养学生逐步养成阅读英文小短文的习惯。
教学目标
本单元的单元主题是A new student。以新同学以及介绍自己的学校为话题，通过描述动物，让学生学会与学校各种教室以及序数词的单词。并且在表达过程中，学习There be 句型的一一般疑问句/否定句/特殊疑问句。
本单元以新同学为话题，让学生学会介绍自己的学校，让学生更加了解自己的学校并爱护自己的学校。此外，本单元还要求学生掌握字母c的发音规则。
