一、教材内容分析:
本单元以Talking about co ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )nsequences为主线,让学生初步感受条件状语从句所发生的各种情境;初步掌握条件状语从句的句型与时态上的微妙差异。本单元的语法项目为 Adverbial clause.

本单元的难点着眼于两个层面 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com ),一个为学生层面,难点应为First conditional if +will. Present progressive as future, 即在条件状语从句中,往往用一般现在时来表示一般将来时。另一个为教师层面,本单元并不像其他单元,有个非常明确的主题与情境,而是需要我们教师在备课前选择与设计若干个适合操练条件状语从句的情境。
三、教学目标:
1. 语言知识目标:初步领略与掌握条件状语从句的用法。
2. 文化意识目标:通过本课时的学习,学生能用英语对即将发生的情境进行预测和表述。
3.语言技能目标:能准确运用If…,…will…句型,恰当运用现在时来表示将来时。
