一 教学内容分析
本模块是八年级上册的第五模块,以老舍以及老舍茶馆为话题,介绍了作家老舍、老舍茶馆以及话剧《茶馆》等相关内容,借此让学生了解像老舍这样的在中国文坛中有着重要影响的作家及京剧、话剧等中国传统文化。本课是第一单元,以玲玲带贝蒂前往老舍茶馆看京剧为主题,讲述了贝蒂在茶馆的所见所闻,并简单介绍了京剧、作家老舍及其代表作《茶馆》。这段对话以谈论中国国粹京剧为主线,穿插使用了动词不定式作宾语的句子,有利于激发学生对祖国传统文化的热爱。
二 学情分析
本课话题比较贴近学生生活,学生对作家老舍及北京的老舍茶馆有一定的了解,可以借助已知信息结合本科所学内容进一步扩充对老舍茶馆的了解。学生在之前的英语学习中接触过动词不定式,通过本课的学习,学生能够感知动词不定式做宾语的用法,熟记本单元中出现的常接动词不定式作宾语的动词,并能恰当运用不定式做宾语这一用法来表达个人意图和计划。
三 教学目标分析
1 语言知识目标
(1)词汇:能读并知道以下词汇的词义offer, in the end, teahouse, actress
(2)语法:感知want, offer, plan, hope接动词不定式作宾语的表达方式。
2 语言技能目标
(1)听:能通过听谈论老舍茶馆之行的对话获取细节信息。
(2)说:a.能用want, offer, plan, hope简单表达自己的意愿。
b.能根据表格内容讲述Betty茶馆之行。
3学习策略目标
能和他人进行合作学习,在交谈中积极发言。
4情感态度目标
激发对京剧等中国传统文化的兴趣和热爱,增强民族自豪感。
四 教学重点和难点
重点:用want, offer, plan, hope简单表达自己的意愿。
难点:根据表格内容讲述Betty茶馆之行。

Step1 Lead in and warm up:
Show a picture of Lao She Teahouse . Ask and answer :

T: Let’s watch a video and find out more information.
Then call back the answers from the whole class.

Step 2: Engage
(1)Show some pictures about things to do in Lao She Teahouse and ask students to repeat the words and phrases.

借助图片激发学生学习兴趣,扫清词汇障碍,为接下来的口头表达教学做准备。

Step 3 Listening (Activity2)
T: Two girls are talking about the Beijing Opera. Listen and answer the questions.

Then check the answers.
设计意图:让学生从小对话中提取信息,为长对话的理解做铺垫。
Step 4 Listening(Activity 3)
(1)Play the dialogue and ask students to answer the questions:
1.When did they go there
2.Do you think they had a good time in LaoShe Teahouse
设计意图:让学生带着问题听对话,达成从对话中获取主旨大意和细节信息的听力教学目标。
(2) Play the dialogue again and ask students to fill in the blanks.

通过获取关键动词进一步巩固理解动词不定式作宾语的用法。
Step 5 Read and fill out the form.

设计意图:作业内容贴近生活实际,学生进一步巩固运用所学内容,将课本知识迁移出来,提高综合运用语言的能力。
