教学目标：
一、知识与技能
1.学生能听，说，读，认动物单词: elephant zebra snake giraffe及单词的复数发音；
2.学生能灵活运用They’re zebras. I like zebras.
二、过程与方法
1.通过看动物头像图片和单词卡片相结合来学习新词；
2.通过观看课件以旧带新，滚动学习；
3.通过听音模仿，身体语言来准确说出动物单词的准确发音；
4.通过小组活动来掌握句子的运用，并能灵活运用与现实生活中；
三、情感态度与价值观
1.培养学生能充满自信，敢于开口，乐于模仿，乐于表演的能力。
2.培养学生热爱动物，热爱大自然的美好感情，增强学生的环境保护意识。

1.动物单词： elephant zebra snake giraffe
2.句型：What are they They are zebras. Do you like zebras Yes, I do./ No, I don’t.
教学难点
1． Using nouns to indicate which animals people like.
2． Asking Wh-questions to find out specific information about things.
3. Using modeled sentences to answer the questions.

教学过程:
Pre-task Activities
Step 1 Warming up:
What is it It’s a duck.
What are they They’re ducks.
Step 2 Stick some pictures of animals on the blackboard to review.
T: What do you like
S1: I like dogs.
S2: I like ducks.
While-task Activities
Step 1 Show a picture of a zoo. Stick the flashcards : giraffe, snake, elephant and zebra on it. Teach the new words and ask the students to repeat.
T: Look! This is a zoo. It’s big. There are many animals in it. What’s this It’s a giraffe.
S: Giraffe.
Step 2
Prepare a card with a smiling face on one side and a crying face on the other side.
T: (Show the card “lion”) Do you like lions
S1: (Show the smiling face) Yes, I do.
Step 3 Learn “No, I don’t.”
S: Do you like lions
T: No, I don’t. T s, s T
Step 4 Point to the animals in the zoo.
T: (Point to the giraffes) What are they They are giraffes.
S: They are giraffes.

Step 5 Have the students listen to the recording for “Look and say” on page 22 of the Student’s Book. Ask the students to practise in pairs.
