I am sorry to hear about your communication problems with your parents, but I know how you feel since I've
had similar problems before. Here are my suggestions and I hope things can get better soon.
First, let’s put ourselves in their shoes. Parents love us and often try to prevent us from making mistakes that
seem obvious to them. When we share our problems with them, we often look for a listening ear and an open heart,
not a solution. Therefore, what you need to do is to chat with them and put trust in them.

◆ 词数少于 60 的,酌情扣分。
◆ 单词拼写和标点符号是写作规范的重要方面,评分时应视其对交际的影响程度予以考虑。英、美拼写

完全达到了预期的写作目的。
第四档(10~12 分)
- 覆盖了所有内容要点,表述比较清楚、合理。
- 使用了比较多样并且恰当的词汇和语法结构,可能有些许错误,但不影响理解。
- 比较有效地使用了语句间衔接手段,全文结构比较清晰,意义比较连贯。
达到了预期的写作目的。
第三档(7~9分)
- 覆盖了大部分内容要点,有个别地方表述不够清楚、合理。
- 使用了简单的词汇和语法结构,有一些错误或不恰当之处,但基本不影响理解。
- 基本有效地使用了语句间衔接手段,全文结构基本清晰,意义基本连贯。
基本达到了预期的写作目的。
第二档(4~6分)
- 遗漏或未清楚表述一些内容要点,或一些内容与写作目的不相关。
- 所使用的词汇有限,语法结构单调,错误较多,影响理解。
- 几乎不能有效地使用语句间衔接手段,全文结构不够清晰,意义不够连贯。
未能达到预期的写作目的。

One possible version:
My father turned the key and started the engine. I was stuck in the back seat with no hope of having great
tales of adventure for my friends. The most exciting thing that might happen in the car would be my sister
throwing up in my lap. Not exactly the kind of story I’d want anyone to hear. I sighed with disappointment and
stared at the road ahead with a blank expression. Bored, I rolled down the window, looking at the sky. Suddenly, I
noticed a large plane flying overhead. It looked as if it was coming in for a landing.
Then I was surprised to see a sign that read “Airport Parking”. I couldn’t believe my eyes. We were heading
right into the airport! Why were we here What was going on Despite all my questions, I was told to wait until
we reached the terminal. It seemed to take forever for us to park and check in all our baggage. “Happy Birthday,
Jay,” my father said as he bent down to kiss my head. “We were planning this as a birthday present for you,” my
mother explained, “despite your bad language the other night.” Hearing this, I was defeated by a sense of guilt
with tears of gratitude.

- 比较有效地使用了语句间衔接手段,全文结构比较清晰,意义比较连贯。
第三档(11~15 分)
- 创造了基本合理的内容,有一定的逻辑性,续写基本完整,与原文情境相关。
- 使用了简单的词汇和语法结构,有一些错误或不恰当之处,但基本不影响理解。
