Unit 1 How can I get there单元整体教学设计
单元主题：Asking and showing the way
该主题属于“人与自我”和“人与社会”范畴，涉及“社会服务与人际沟通”和“描述城市设施及其位置，同伴友好互助，问路和指路”。
教学理论
《义务教育英语课程标准（2022年版）》指出：“英语课程的实施要充分发挥核心素养的统领作用，以主题为引领选择和组织课程内容，以语篇为依托融入语言知识、文化知识、语言技能以及学习策略等学习要求，以单元的形式呈现。“2022版课标”的课程六要素新增了“主题”和“语篇”两个要素，并突出了单元整体教学的重要性。单元整体教学过程的设计要先从整体安排教学环节，形成单元框架结构。（王建平，2020）无论是单元整体框架，还是课时教学，都要有学生的学习活动作支撑，围绕单元学习重点、促进单元目标的达成，因此学习活动要体现整合性和纵深行。
二、单元内容分析
围绕单元主题，深挖各课时话题，在单元大任务（Asking the way）的统领下，划分成四个活动：活动一：了解城市设施，礼貌问路，认识地图，明确方位；活动二：规划路线，精准指路；活动三：运用科技，精准定位；活动四：学会欣赏了解国外建筑及位置。整合教学内容和资源，明确单元总目标和课时分目标，设计问题解决的任务清单。这些内容与学生的日常生活紧密相联，学生乐于学习，易于掌握。同时，这个话题又建立在之前所学单词和句型的基础上，让学生新旧结合，不断积累。
语篇一词汇和对话融合课，属于子话题“Asking the way”是小学生日常生活对话。教材通过Wu Binbin和Mike想要去自然科学博物馆和邮局，询问并回答关于城市设施位置的问题，引导学生友好互助。
语篇二是一节词汇课，教材通过Wu Binbin，Robin和Mike讨论设施位置展开，谈论位置进而描述城市设施，以及如何指示道路。
语篇三也是小学生日常生活对话。教材通过Wu Binbin, Mike和Robin想去意大利餐厅吃披萨的情景，灵活运用所学的句型谈论描述城市设施，以及如何指示道路，引导学生友好互助尊重他人。
语篇四是一节读写课，继续围绕子话题“Asking the way”展开，通过描述Robin has BDS了解从古到今辨别方位的方法
语篇五是一节对话故事课，继续围绕子话题“Asking the way to London Eye”故事中Zoom和Zip通过问路了解英国代表性建筑“伦敦眼”，著名河流“泰晤士河”以及特色快餐“fish and chips”。
三．学情分析——知识基础、认知（心理）特点、生活经验等
经过三年的英语学习，六年级的学生已经有了一定的英语学习基础，且基础较扎实。本单元的教学主题是Asking and showing the way。询问地点的句型：Where is the ... 以及回答所需要的方位介词on/ in/ under/ near/ next to/ in front of/ behind/ between ...在四、五年级的教材中已经学过。本单元需要掌握的词汇science, right 和post 中的office也已经学过，这些旧知都为本单元的教学奠定了基础。 在日常生活中，六年级的学生已经能够有礼貌地问路或为别人指路，也能够在迷路时寻求帮助。

(一)、语篇研读
What：本课语篇围绕Wu Binbin，Mike和Robin如何到达意大利餐馆而展开。Wu Binbin’s grandpa给Robin安装了BDS，Wu Binbin，Mike和Robin三人看完电影想到意大利餐馆就餐，Robin利用BDS帮助他们最终到达意大利餐馆。
Why：该语篇通过描述Wu Binbin，Mike和Robin三人到达意大利餐馆路线，引导学生学会在出行之前要提前了解路线做好安排，培养独立自主的品质；同时也引导学生学会使用BDS等科技手段解决找不到路的问题。
How：该语篇为日常生活对话，涉及一些从古到今辨别方位的单词，如map, compass, BDS, stars和一些新单词BDS, gave, feature, far, tell, follow; 指引路线时使用的核心语言，如“Let’s go straight. Turn left at the bookstore. Let’s turn right and then turn right again.”。学生在B Let’s talk中已经大体了解了如何到达意大利餐馆。该语篇情节相对来说比较简单，易于理解，具有现实意义和教育意义。

通过本课时学习，学生能够：
1.理解文本情境并读懂文本；通过阅读问题训练，捕捉不同类型的信息，训练根据上下文猜新词的能力，并能根据阅读所获取的信息写出文章梗概；（学习理解）
2.运用核心短语和句型在语境下表达如何去意大利餐馆；（应用实践）
3.以小组合作的形式创编一个新的对话并进行表演。（迁移创新）
