In China, the Spring Festival is the most important one. It's celebrated on the first day of the lunar year. I like the Spring Festival best.
People start preparing delicious food, cleaning the whole house and decorating their homes one month before it comes. On Chinese New Year's Eve, all the family get together for a big dinner. They stay up till midnight, and then play fireworks and crackers for good luck. On the first day of lunar New Year, not only children but also adults put on new clothes and visit friends and relatives from door to door.
I think the Spring Festival is the most interesting festival in China. All Chinese are excited when it comes. To me, getting the lucky money is the happiest thing!
