知识点01.- Is this your cap 这是你的帽子吗
No,it' s not mine..不,不是我的。
在该句中,your为形容词性物主代词,相当于形容词,不能单独使用,放在名词前做定语。mine是名词性物主代词,是名词,单独使用,后面不能接名词。注意:形容词性物主代词+名词=名词性物主代词。如:
This is my coat..= This coat is mine..(表语)这是我的上衣。
His coat is yellow.. Mine is green.
(主语)他的上衣是黄色的。我的是绿色的。
知识点02.- Whose cap is it,,then 那么,这是谁的帽子呢
It' s Sally's.是萨莉的。
(1)由疑问词 whose引导一个特殊疑问句,
whose意为“谁的”,表示所属关系。在句中可单独使用,也可与名词连用。其答语应用名词性物主代词或名词所有格。如:
-Whose skirt is this = Whose is this skirt 这是谁的裙子
It' s Jane's.是简的。
2) Sally's是名词所有格,意为“萨莉的”。名词所有格表示所有或所属关系,意为“…的”,s名词所有格多用于表示有生命的所属关系。如
Tom' s room汤姆的房间

①单数名词和不以s结尾的复数名词的词尾后加's。如:
Jenny'' s skirt珍妮的裙子

②以s结尾的复数名词词尾加’

③and前后的名词,如果都用所有格,表示分别拥有;如果只有第二个名词用所有格,则表示共同拥有。如:
Bob' s and May' s rooms f鲍勃和梅的房间(两人分别拥有)
Bob and John's room鲍勃和约翰的房间(两人共同拥有)
【注意】名词后s可以表示缩写形式,也可以表示所有格形式,我们必须根据具体的语境来判断。如:
Tom' s a boy..汤姆是个男孩。
Tom' s dad is tall..汤姆的爸爸个子高。
【拓展】
①如果名词所有格后是商店、住宅等地点的名词,该名词常常可以省略。如
go to my friend's( house)去我朋友的家
at the doctor's在医生诊所
②无生命事物的所有格常用of结构。如:
a map of China-一张中国地图

It' s his bike../It's his.是他的自行车。是他的。
“It' s his bike..”中的his是形容词性物主代词;
“It's his.”中的his是名词性物主代词。如:
These pants are his..= These are his pants.那些是他的裤子。
知识点04.- Is it yours,, Michael 迈克尔,这是你的吗
No,it' s not mine..不,不是我的。
yours和mine为名词性物主代词,相当于一个形容词性物主代词加上一个名词,在句中可作主语、表语。如:
Is this book yours 这本书是你的吗 (表语)
Yes, it is mine..是,是我的。(表语)
Yours is a red book..你的书是红色的。(主语)
Mine is a blue book..我的书是蓝色的。(主语)
知识点05. I think it''s Kangkang's.我想那是康康的。
“I think..”意为“我认为……,我想……”,后接一个简单句,表明自己对某人或某事的观点、看法、态度等。如
I think you are right..我想你是对的。
【拓展】它的否定形式是对动词 think进行否定。但在翻译时是对 think之后的句子进行语义上的否定。如
I don' t think you are right..我认为你不对。
We don' t think the coat is Joan's.我们认为这件外套不是琼的。
知识点06. We look the same, but we are in different clothes..我们看起来很像,但是我们着装不同。
clothes为名词,意为“衣服,服装”,通指各种衣服,是衣服的总称,包括上衣、内衣、裤子等, 只有复数形式,不能和具体数字连用。如:
These clothes are nice..这些衣服很漂亮。
【注意】(1) clothes作句子的主语时,谓语动词用复数形式。如:
These clothes are Mary's.这些衣服是玛丽的。
(2) clothes不能和具体数字连用,但是可以和 these,, those等连用。如
These clothes are too long for me..这些衣服对我来说太长了。
【对比】 clothes与 clothing都可意为“衣服”。
clothes泛指所有服装,只有复数形式,作主语时,谓语动词用复数。 clothing特指某种服装,是不可数名词,做主语时,谓语用单数形式。如:
Jack' s clothes are clean..杰克的衣服是干净的。
Mike' s protective clothing is clean..迈克的防护服是干净的。
知识点07. He is twenty years old..他二十岁。
old是形容词,在句中可以作定语和表语。
year(s)old在此为“……岁”的意思,old还有“旧的”和“老的”意思,其反义词分别为new(新的),young(年轻的)。如
This jacket is old.. It isn't new.这件夹克旧了,不是新的。(表语)
He is an old man.. He isn't a young man..他是一个老人,不是年轻人。(定语)
知识点08. He is in black..他身着黑色(衣服)。
black在此句中作名词,意为“黑色”;“in+颜色(名词)”意为“穿某种颜色衣服”,颜色名词前不加冠词the。如:
The girl in red is my sister..身穿红色衣服的女孩是我姐姐。
【拓展】表示颜色的名词也可以用作动词,意为“使变成……颜色”。 black作动词意为“涂黑,使……变成黑色或弄脏”。如:
Please don'' t black your face..请别弄脏你的脸。
知识点09. Please help us find him..请帮助我们找到他。
(1)这是一个祈使句。find是动词,意为“找到,发现”,表示找的结果。
【拓展】 look for意为“寻找”,强调找的动作或过程。如:
The girl is looking for her cat, but she can't find it.
这个女孩正在找她的猫,但是没有找到。
(2)help在此句中是及物动词,意为“帮忙,帮助”。 help sb.. do sth..= help sb.. to do sth..意为“帮助某人做某事”,此处sb.要用人称代词宾格形式(to) do sth..是宾语补足语。如:
Can you help me spell apple =Can you help me to spell apple 你能帮助我拼写苹果这个单词吗
help常见的用法: help sb..帮助某人; help sb.. with sth..在某事方面帮助某人。如:
Tom is a nice boy.He often helps others.汤姆是一个好男孩。他经常帮助别人。
I help Lily with Chinese and she helps me with English..我帮助李莉学汉语。她帮助我学英语。
【链接】help也可做名词,意为“帮助,帮忙”,是不可数名词。常见的短语有: with one's help/ with the help of sb.在某人的帮助下。如:
Tom, thank you for your help..汤姆,谢谢你的帮助。
