(1) 本句中两个laughed 用and连接，强调反复，连续的动作，
表示“又”的意思。
Eg: We talked and talked.
我们谈了又谈。
(2) when I saw是时间状语，其中when是从属连接副词。
Eg: When he pressed the button, the lift stopped.
他一按按钮，电梯就停了。
(3) when在时间状语从句中可以指时间点，也可以指时间段；既可以表示比从句早或晚的动作，也可以表示语从句同时进行的动作。
Eg: Tell him to come here when you see him
你看见他时，让他到这儿来。

本句中think of意思是“想起，考虑”

4. When it was time for dessert, she turned off the light.
(1) It’s time for sth. 是固定句型，意为“到了做某事的时间了”
等于It’s time to do sth.句型。
Eg: It’s time to have supper. = It’s time to for supper.
到了吃晚饭的时间了。
(2) turn off是固定词组，意为“关掉（点灯，水源，煤气
等）”。
Eg: Turn off the TV when you go out.
出去时关掉电视
(3) 由turn构成的词组：
