though作adv.,意为“不过;可是;然而”,常用于口语中,一般放在句尾。

Though/Although he was ill, he worked hard.
Though/Although he is 90, he is still very healthy.
(1)though作连词,意为“虽然;尽管”,引导让步状语从句,此时可以和although互换。
(2)though/although不能和but连用,但可以和yet, still连用。
e.g. I won the competition.

I beat their team by 5:4.
