教学目标
1.能听、说、读、写本单元词汇:carry, a piece of , have a picnic, grow a plant, better and better, even, space, dinosaur并能在语境中正确运用这些核心词汇。
2.教授学生如何从课文中抓住重点信息,并且可以通过Look and read帮助学生说出学校的现在与将来。
3. 通过Do a survey栏目的调查活动,帮助学生复习巩固本单元核心句型。
4. 通过学习任务Think and write的书写任务,帮助学生进一步巩固和运用一般将来时,训练书面表达能力。
5.帮助学生了解字母m,n和字母组合ng,n(k),n(g)在单词中的发音。
学情分析
我班仅有20名农村孩子,他们对英语的学习有着浓厚的兴趣,但是班级中两极分化现象严重,很多孩子没有基础,可这也不能改变他们对英语的追求和向往。所以本节课的重点还是在于充分调动他们的学习积极性,打开孩子的思路和想象,让其畅所欲言。
重点难点
1.核心词汇及其在语境中的正确运用。
2.学生能用一般将来时表达将要发生的事情和对未来的愿望。
3.一般将来时态的结构,will后跟动词原型,如果跟名词或形容词,应加上be.
教学过程
【导入】Pre-task preparations
1. Enjoy a song. Our school will shine today
2. Free talk. 请学生谈谈自己学校过去和现在的情况。
T: Do you like our school How is our school in the past
Ss: In the past, our school was ….
There was/were ….
There wasn’t/were not …
T: How is our school now
Ss: Now our school is … There is/are ….
【讲授】While-task activities
1. 出示Ms Guo图片. T: What is Ms Guo doing What’s in her hand
学生带着问题听课文内容,然后回答问题。
复习词汇: in the future, write… down, a piece of, time box
2. Listen and match. What are their wishes
T: What changes would Peter like to see
S1: Students will grow a lot of plants in the garden.
T: What changes would Alice like to see
S2: Students will grow a lot of plants in the garden.
T: What changes would Joe like to see
S3: Students will not carry any books. All their books will be on a small computer.
T: What changes would Kitty like to see
S4: Students will study online at home.
T: What changes would Jill like to see
S5: She will be the head teacher.
学习词汇: have a picnic, grow a plant, study online, head teacher, carry some books.
3. Listen and read the passage.
Post-task activities
1. Act out the dialog.
2. Complete the letter.
Ask the students to complete the letter in P15, then ask them to read this letter.
