【教学目标】
语言知识目标：
能够听、说、认读本课单词及目标语句 rainy, sunny, windy, cloudy, snowy. What’s the weather like ... How about ...
了解华氏度数和摄氏度数（centigrade 和 Fahrenheit degrees ）的不同。
语言技能目标：
能够在问题和图片的帮助下，听并读懂对话。
根据小学英语新课标的精神，能够在实际情景中灵活运用本课核心词汇及目标语句：rainy, sunny, windy, cloudy, snowy. What’s the weather like ... How about ...
情感目标：培养学生关注天气，热爱生活的情感。文化目标：了解世界主要城市的天气差异和谈论天气所具有的寒暄功能。
【教学重难点】
教学重点：能够在实际情景中灵活运用本课目标语句： What’s the weather like ... How about ... Is it... Yes, it is. No, it isn’t.
教学难点：It’s ... degrees.理解与表达。
【教学过程】
环节一：思维激发
Play a game:“Yes Or No”（快闪游戏）大屏幕快速闪现有关描述天气状况的单词和句子，配上动感十足的音乐，让学生迅速判断句子是否正确。
Free talk：
(Show the pictures)T: What’s the weather like today
Ss: It’s cool/warm ...
T: Is it cold/hot today
Ss: No,it isn’t./Yes, it is.
环节二：问题导学（把问题作为教学的出发点，激发学生思考。）
整体呈现文本 T:Children, Just now, we talked about weather here in our city. I have two friends, they are talking about weather, too. Who are they Look, they’re coming. (Show Chen Jie and Mark)T: Which city do they talk about Where is Chen Jie Where is Mark Can you guess (学生猜测后）
T: OK，Let's watch and answer.
整体呈现文本，让学生带着问题观看，并回答问题。
Mark is in New York. Chen Jie is in Beijing.
出示世界地图,在黑板上画出的世界地图上贴上 Mark 和 Chen Jie 的头像。顺势将两个小组划分为 Now York group 和 Beijing Group。
环节三：探析生成
T: OK，we know Mark is in New York. What’s the weather like in New York Let’s listen and answer.(听音后）
Ss: It’s rainy.
T：Yes，it's rainy right now. But the weather is different every day.Look!(老师利用 PPT 呈现纽约不同的天气图片 windy/sunny/cloudy...，利用核心句型加以练习。
思维导图构建：解决了有关天气的几个新授词汇，老师利用思维导图的形式加以概括，并联系之前所学的旧知 warm，hot, cool,cold,形成大的思维导图，为下文的问答做好铺垫。T：Boys and girls,we know the different weather in New York.How aboutThe other cities Look at the world weather,ask and answer in pairs.
Pair work and show .
Sing a song.OK. Now we know the weather in New York, and some other cities. So we can see DIFFERENT PLACES DIFFERENT WEATHER.
第一段文本呈现后，引出打电话用语 This is... 引导学生回答后，呈现 Good to know.
New York 视频 Let's know more about New York.
环节四：认知构建
Listen and choose
T:Boys and girls, Just now, we knew the weather in New York. How about Beijing Is it cold What’s the temperature Let’s listen and choose.
2.Group work.老师呈现温度计模型，拨动温度，练习 It'’s _______ degrees.
六人小组，组长调节温度计度数，说：Look，it’s ____degrees. Is it cold/hot... 其他组员根据实际情况回答问题。
完整呈现第二段文本，跟读练习后，播放关于北京的视频，让学生了解关于北京更多的天气和活动。
环节五：训练迁移
Listen and imitate. Pay attention to your pronunciation, intimation and emotion(show the whole dialogue)
Read in roles.（注意角色分配、学法指导）
Imitate the dialogue（注意角色分配与头饰的佩戴、学法指导、小组评价）
环节六：拓展深化
Group work: Choose a city you like to travel and make new dialogues in your group .（小组评价）
Make a model.
