Lesson Type : Grammar Review
I. Analysis of the teaching material
[What]
Elaborated in details, this lesson is designed to help students review the grammar-compound structure of preposition with, which is of great importance for students to have a better understanding of non-predicative verbs in both reading and writing.
[Why]

Design Purposes:To make students clearly know about what they are going to achieve in this class.
Step 2 Warming up
Time: 3mins IW&CW
Teaching activities:
Show students a black picture and ask them what they can see by clicking the picture.
Design Purposes: Before exploring the meaning of the topic, T first presents a picture and activates the students' existing experience and background knowledge related to the grammar topic.
Step 3 Translation IW&GW
Invite students to listen to a folk song;
Ask students to translate the folk song with only one English sentence. (Tips: 定主谓,译修饰)
Check the possible answers by leading students to use the compound structure of preposition with.
Show students the rules of the compound structure of preposition with and revise it.
Design Purposes:To help students revise the rules of the compound structure of the preposition with through translating the lyrics.
