学情分析
五年级的学生已经掌握了一定的英语词汇,能够说出一定的表示交通方式的词汇如:by bike, by bus, by car, on foot等。需要老师在学习新课时复习一下加以巩固,为之后的新句型打基础。
五年级的学生已经接触过单数第三人称,但用单数第三人称进行句型训练时还容易出错。
重点难点
词汇:by bike, by bus, by car, on foot, walk, far from
句型:How do you come to school I come to school on foot.
运用句型How do you come to school I come to school...来询问和表达他人上学的交通方式。

T: Boys and girls, how do you go to school
(板书句子How do you go to school 领读,确认学生理解句子意思。)
T:If you go to school by bike too, you can say
(板书I go to school by bike.)
请学生试读,再请学习能力较强的学生单个读。

展示各种交通工具的图片,看图说话,教授核心句型和词汇。
T: I live near our school. I come to school...(Show the flashcard for“on foot”) I come to school on foot. Who comes to school on foot too
S1: I come to school on foot.
S1: I come to school on foot too.
T: I come to school on foot. I can also say“ I walk to school.”
请班中步行上学的学生集体说。
Ss: I walk to school.
T:Do you come to school on foot (ask one of the students)
S3:No.
T: How do you come to school (ask the students to pick up one of the pictures of different vehicles)

同样方法教授其他词汇,如by bus等。
1)呈现课文,整体感知
2).学生分角色表演课文。然后开展小组活动,在小组中分角色表演对话。

【活动】Practice
1.出示学生熟悉的不同地方的图片,让学生在真实的语境下操练所学句型。
T:This is...(place).How do you go to... (place)
S1:I go to... (place)...
学生结对子然后根据图片开展问答。
2.学生准备一些卡片,进行句型操练。在一组卡片上写下目的地(如超市、图书馆、公园),另一组卡片写上交通工具,如car, on foot, bike, bus等,安排学生分别抽取目的地和交通工具的卡片,然后师生问答。
